When the FFXIV Endwalker OST hits HARD

The FFXIV Endwalker OST is absolutely phenomenal. I didn’t think they’d be able to top Shadowbringers, but they absolutely did.

  1. Nah man this is not nonsensical, it’s the answer to the song of oblivion; the scions’ (and the world’s) song of hope, that the Warrior of Light will tenderly carry in his/her heart so that it can not only reach Meteion, but everyone.

  2. It…does make sense though? The first part refers to a certain little bird. The second refers to the Warrior of Light. "Fast" here is an old meaning of the term, e.g. when you say something is "stuck fast," it means it will be difficult to dislodge. So carrying "our song" means bearing the hope of the people of the world, "fast within your arms" meaning you won't drop or lose it, so that that hope "might ring for all."

    Like that's honestly the most sensible part of the song. The "Autumntide" and "courage threeves" parts are much more weird and obscure.

  3. Just started playing currently in arr as a thaumaturge the game is great and if this is what is in endwalker I can’t imagine what I have to look forward too. In most games I’m sure I’d speed run through everything but ff14 is so fun to get lost in and explore.

  4. Oh. That’s your girl and you’ve memorized the song so that you have a literal playback in your head only you can hear. But you’re singing along in the manner of speech Eorzeans use. I see. Yes, quite the event.

  5. Who sings this part? It's absolutely beautiful, and I didn't know what they lyrics were until this video. I wish I would of known what she was saying during the final fight, because, I'm pretty sure I would of cried like the rest, and probably ate the puddles. ;_;

  7. Nah, sorry, the Endwalker OST isn't better than Shadowbringers. It has a few good songs in it, and the dungeon mid-boss music freaking rocks, but a lot of the rest was… pretty bland and forgettable.

  8. I watched the fanfest when I was still a free trial user. To me post ShB G’raha will always be “Stars still have secrets to tell guy”, separate from Crystal Tower raid G’raha and the Exarch (him being Exarch is a late arrival spoiler at this point) yet the same. Amanda really be breathtaking on her singing tho.
