Now THIS is the content we deserve. This is v v v important HELLO?!? Also the fact that the tier list isn’t S-D. Like the perfection jumped out. Black mage is totally girly pop for alt girlies. When they are fire IV-ing and their skirts blowing in the wind all drama. The way they don’t move for anyone. And black is the color of cvntress like It’s for the dolls. people just think it’s too scary to play when it’s not.
This is such a creative idea for a ffxiv video, I clicked on it SO fast.
Finally a ffxiv job tier list I can fully get behind
not my ass not knowing what girlypop is outside of the name, but still watching cause I'm addicted to ff14 tierlists
I worked so hard to find a SGE 'aesthetic' and I settled on Cowboy Doctor. Wake Doctor's Coat, big ol white cowboy hat, white denim, and Nabaath Pendulums that look like flintlock pistols. Girlypop? Not likely, but definitely not a basic Sage.
The only critique I have for this ranking is with mch placement. I mean, the skill animations have so many flashy jumping moves. AND the robot friend is Queen. For me, this job has so much potential to climb the ranks even to the limp wrist category.

For the bard being brought down a teir thing and not knowing why some people play it despite not being 100% into the aesthetic: it's the only bow job so all of us folk that enjoy rhe whole archer/ranger/rugged survivalist thing are kind of funneled into an otherwise flamboyant job until they give us another bow job to go play with.

Girly pop vibes aside, I LOVE your analysis of the jobs identity and how that appeals to players. BUT OMG HOW COULD YOU DO DRK SO DIRTY!? That is a limp wrist class if there ever was one. Maybe it's the class story that does it for me but I just love the whole rugged individualist, don't let the haters hold you down vibe of the class. It feels very resonant with LGBT culture in general because a lot of us don't have the support of our loved ones and are out doing it on our own to be true to our ownselves and that is what DRK is all about.
I feel like I learned something about my aesthetic since all of my main jobs are in Limp Wrist and I am very excited for Pictomancer.

I feel that mch has so much potential to do better, but there's just something holding it back. Like don't even get me started on the ugly toolbox mch always have to carry around. I would slay so much harder without it.

Sage definitely has the potential to be THAT girl. It can really give that lab intp office siren-like realness, too bad there's not much to work with in the game to achieve that esthetic

I personally think theres some great potential for viper.
Its never going to be a cutesy vibe that works for it, but when i see viper Im already thinking of glamours close to Katarina from LoL, or an old favorite of mine ; Rogue from Untold legends Dark kingdom. Its an old PS3 release game that was kind of shoddy, but Rogue specifically had some cvnty animations and abilities as the game's designated femme fatale. I could only hope that once we get our hands on the class, we will find some more femme/acrobatic esc. fantasies.
