Final Fantasy 14 Has Some INCREDIBLE Hidden Gems!

So Mike FINALLY started Stormblood this week and there will be a video very soon talking about that experience, but before it was time to do that, we just had to get mike to do some of the important side content in Heavensward, some of which you may not even know about.

  1. Being the first expansion, Heavensward has a lot of legacy that is still lingering till today as you can see. Whenever Preach levels a crafter/gatherer, I sincerely recommend the Firmament questline. First quest is Towards the Firmament in Ishgard. The rest I will leave Preach to find out 😀 not too much a hidden gem because it is famous among disciples of hand/land for levelling. This questline is AMAZING and worth researching, especially on its actual progression when it was released back in Shadowbringers

  3. From Heavensward on, the sidequests have become increasingly pertinent to the story and the atmosphere, and though there may be 'fetch quests' mixed in, there's a lot of them that are touching stories in and of themselves. I'd highly recommend doing them on an alt job and enjoying them for what little stories many of them are.

  4. I did the Scholasticate back when I went through Heavensward myself. It surprises me that so many don't know of it.
Though I've done virtually every quest in the game at this point. Just missing some relic ones mainly.

  5. The intro is brilliant! The way he incorporated the music, the Phantom thief, the Eorzean alphabet that says Floor Inspector and Preaches silhouette is so cool! Kudos to the editor!

  6. The only side quest left for me is in Shb and EW. Haven't got time for them, really. Busy with making cookies b4 EW, now busy with making cookies for EW since I specialise in Cul. XD ARR, HW, SB… I've done them all. Mike have just nailed it. Nice… I love the side stories, it adds so much flavour to the game

  7. Some people say they didn't like Stormblood …. as much as I loved Heavensward (and I LOVED Heavensward) I still really enjoyed Stormblood. I felt the personal, smaller conflicts to be incredibly emotional.

There's one character that turned out to be one of my most hated, then most loved characters. I hope you enjoy that journey

It only keeps going getting better. I am ONE QUEST away from finishing Endwalker and I had chills last night as I was leading up to this final quest.

  8. WOAHHH no way. You took a week off from playing a game you are enjoying and paying a monthly sub for because of the new expansion and you didn't wanna take up 'server space' ?

Genuinely feels like if someone was to go out for a meal and then reject the food because there's hungry people in the world.

But nahh, woahhhh, you're such a good and kind hearted guy. you decided not to play just so someone else can get into the game 15 seconds earlier than usual. that is so inspirational I genuinely believe that ou should replace Jesus as the figurehead for Christianity and a symbol of goodwill. Only someone who's been literally blessed by the heavens would do something as selfless as that.

  9. I accidently found this quest line because I was trying to find the Scholastic set you get for completeing it, and I was laughing so hard at the, "Wait… what are you doing here" look you and Brian have with each other, like he didn't expect anyone to be interested in his side quest.
