I want to say that my Adobe was corrupted so I was unable to edit this video how I liked too. After working on it for hours I decided to post it as is so I apologize in advance for the quality. That being said, what is the best Input device for FFXIV? Controller, Mouse, and Keyboard, Clicking all your skills? Hopefully, this helps you decide. Enjoy!

what bothers me in the keyboard is that if i press "s" my charcters move superslow back, and when i move the joystick down, my character autoturn and move in that direction, so there is no slow movment. and also, i find very dificult to move using awsd(using 3 to 4 fingers) and circle enemies at the sime time i should be pressing 12345 and etc, put ctrl and shift in the mix then? a nightmare to my cordination, as in the controles, movment its all made by one finger, my thumb, and the rest its free to use all of the comands. i got and small bluetooth mouse and keyboard just to chat, and navigate somethings in the hud, cuz mouse its faster, like in the craft log for example. but combat? controller all the way.
i kinda want to start playing on controller so i can chill out and can lay back
I've used both and I don't think they're as close together as you think they are, but they're both for sure viable and get the job done.
My big issue with controller is the need to use triggers to bring up different bars. Modifier keys are never able to be as fast as straight binds, and that might not matter all the time in FFXIV but when it does matter it matters a lot.
I've found the best method to avoid stick drift is to get a controller with back buttons and program the back buttons for the L3 and R3 buttons for games that use those a lot like fps games. I play on xbox with an elite series 2 controller and I always use the four back buttons religiously for all games. My first real mmo was Star Wars Galaxies and that game was notorious for bad controls, so I really like the streamlined approach with FFXIV where it all just feels good. I do think Mouse and Keyboard has an advantage, but controller for me is my preferred method.
Controller and mouse.
