  1. THe most hated thing for me is people ignoring people in cutscenes. Back when I started it was an unspoken rule to let people see the cutscenes before pulling the last boss, now it's ignored. Really disrespectful.

  2. Just Elemental things. Most of the peeps in Elemental that does this also happens to be the more proactive players when FFXIV content is fresh/rich. We rarely see these pricks in post-Endwalker because they weren't playing anymore during that point of time, but when Dawntrail was released these guys are back in full force. Any poor new players trying to queue for Aglaia now is going to see people pulling the last boss before half of the raid even got through the loading screen.

    Now I want to PF prog M1S in Elemental, but I'm so scared of joining PF parties made by japanese players.

  3. 14:05 — If it makes you feel better, think of the alpacas like this: there are too many of them and they destablize their own natural habitat. Its… basically the same with deer hunting: too many of them and they endanger the general plant live on which other animals depend, too. … This certainly made me feel better about my hunt logs ^^°

I call them 'new money', these Healers and DPS that pull before the tank or just jog along the first pull on their way to the 2nd pull like they are on their way to the farmers market to buy avocados and hope someone comments on their sick hairstyle. I am getting used to them as a tank, having been back in FF14 a year now, but I greatly prefer grouping with old friends, who are 'old money' and start to see red the second I pull kill parts of the first group I pull before I get to the second.

  8. I don't really care about dps healer pulling ahead like, free mit, plus its faster so what does it matter? But waiting for people to finish cs is just basic courtesy, like its 10 seconds long at most lol

  11. Cutscene people should be watching. In dungeons I don’t mind my healer or dps pulling ahead. Some of them have their heavy damage attacks about to fall off and if they can throw out the attack before that for more dps I’ll just grab aggro lol

  12. I'm a dps main and a new tank, about level 46 warrior and absolutely hate when dps pulls more mobs. Im currently undergeared and know what pack I can pull. When you pull ahead, you're slowing everyone down since the healer has to work way harder to keep me alive.

  14. imma be honest, the "Little things going in random directions" mechanics need to die off. they aren't impossible, but they are un fun. I hated amusement park for it and i hate M2 for it. don't get me wrong ill 100% do my weeklies but once i have everything i need i wont touch M2 again and i will 100% leave amusement park every time i get it. ill gladly take the 30 minute lockout if it means i don't have to deal with bad mechanics.

    I want to make it clear that I don't dislike the mechanic because its damn near impossible to not get hit, i dislike the mechanic because its just bad. Randomness is not a valid form of difficulty. Randomness doesn't take skill to overcome, it takes luck and luck based mechanics have zero place in battle content in XIV

I will never forget one day when I was still a sprout and was in a leveling dungeon and didn’t know what to do or what mit cycling was and there was a ninja that kept full pulling the room and killing me. Then had the gall to say “Why would you even play this game if you’re not going to even attempt? You’re wasting my time and everyone’s time who you interact with and should just uninstall and stop ruining the community.” The other Dps and healer vote kicked him with me and then went on an almost 5 minute rant about the antisocial concroaches that play this game. I did uninstall for about a week before my friend convinced me to come back. These people aren’t just “people trying to play the game.” They’re selfish antisocial NEETs with no sort of empathy or higher thinking. Don’t get it confused.

  17. I always let the tank pull, it's feels awful when tanks only do one group at a time because of how slow it feels but it's whatever. I prefer them doing big pulls, more fun.

I mean i play in bryn and from what i know is an unspoken rule that tank by obvious reasons is the one that sets the pace of the dungeon so if i dps runs ahead and pull is fine they can tank those mobs and likely die and learn from that you pull it you tank it moment. Want big pulls always? Pick tank.

  23. As someone from JP Server, Raid Finder is a bliss to use especially so for current EX1 and EX2 Mount farm. clear that fight in less then 10mins with almost 0 mistakes as everyone universally studied 1 guide and knows what to do 😊

    Tried raiding in OCE for EX1 Mount farm and found out it was a nightmare. Posted a simple macro for the fight the tank said "I ain't reading that shit" and proceeds ro wipe the party multiple times arggh 🤦🤦🤦

  24. What's funny about this is why are they pulling ahead without having that same conversation? When you're on a bus or a train you wait on the stops. You don't get to commander the bus. If you wanted to get there faster you'd take your own car, would you not?
