My friend bought me FF14 for Christmas in 2021. I had no experience with anything even remotely related to the FF universe other than Kingdom Hearts and Hyadain's videos. I watched them as memes back in the 2008 era, when I was in high school. Seeing the four elemental lords and hearing these themes (ESPECIALLY THIS ONE) is blowing my mind, and a connection I didn't know was there at first has been reestablished. My birthday is this month and this is the best present I could have gotten.

Who/What is "hyadain"?
As a cultureless barbarian, I thought the Battle With the Four Fiends Motif was actually quoting VII's Weapon Raid (while it's actually the other way around), but I am happy to have been enlightened in this regard by FFXIV. Also, I still dig every new iteration.
