  1. Everyone always underestimates Odin, but that fight is brutal af when you do it synced if the mechanics aren't respected. It's an Extreme trial that isn't labeled as an Extreme. Congrats on clearing it!

  2. Just in case no one explained, you died in Ramuh because when you have tethers you need to collect the orbs on the ground! Edit: Three orbs by one of the players (thx for correction)

  3. Chocobo racing is wild. Your initial Chocobo is pretty poor, stat wise, so to have improved chances, you have to dabble in the oft-neglected mechanics of Chocobo husbandry!

you breed them, essentially.

And while it’s not convoluted, it IS complex enough to warrant the use of a guide. Fortunately, you can just Google it as and find a couple easily enough.

Assuming you are interested, of course.

Congrats on clearing the Odin fight, btw. It’s in the same class as any of the Extreme fights, despite not being overly labeled as such, and is definitely not easy. Now that you’ve done that, know that there’s also an Odin FATE that occasionally spawns in the Shroud whenever the current weather is listed as “Tension” when you hold your cursor over it. Dealing the last blow in that FATE will cause Odin to take the form of your character the next time it spawns. Bear in mind, once this FATE is beaten, it enters a three-day cooldown before it spawns again. It also can’t be solo’d. A party of eight is the minimum requirement.

The items you get from the fight and the FATE and the fight are outdated, but they are great for glamours.

I also recommend trying the other Extreme fights, as beating them gives a chance of dropping unique mounts that play their respective boss’ music when ridden.
