Final Fantasy XIV players gathered on many servers in this fashion on September 21, 2021, to pay homage to Stephen Critchlow, the voice actor of Edmont de Fortemps, after hearing of his passing on September 19, 2021.
We stood in front of Fortemps Manor in Ishgard remembering the good memories Stephen gave us by playing one of the most influential and relatable characters in Heavensward. Edmont gave us a home away from home when we had nowhere else to go, and he welcome us with a fatherly smile even while grieving the passing of his son.
This was filmed entirely with the idling camera. All the cuts are random and no editing has been done. It just shows a community paying homage to a man who gidted them with good memories.

I thankfully got to be a part of the vigil to pay respects, getting to just experience this with other players as we remember an icon of the FFXIV story was great, and its something i'll remember whenever I go past the manor. may he rest in peace
