After discovering the true cause of the Final Days, it is time to leave Elpis. During the Final Days, as life falls apart and the plan to sacrifice new life to Zodiark is about to be enacted, Venat sunders the world into 13 reflections and over time awaits our WoL’s return to do what the ancients were never able to do. FFXIV Cutscenes taken from Endwalker. Final Fantasy 14 has me hooked and I just need to share some moments I have had during the game.

I personally believe that Venat spoke with Azem and told them everything. Azem then said "That sounds like a fun adventure. I'll meet you at the end when I'm this other person."
tbh I think the story tries to get you to suspect hydaelin is the actual big bad, and I'm glad she isn't because it would be so much less interesting that way
