  1. I envy you so much. The PoF story is so good and have so many oh shit moments that you never expect. I always loved the PoF maps too they are so beutiful and contrary to what people say it have a lot of content but it was not like in HoT so people where mad. I still love the areas though and often do the metas still.

  2. Yep, they kept the griffon pretty much a secret until the expansion released. There was one promotional image that showed the mounts all lined up, but if you looked way in the background, there was a faint griffon silhouette in the sky that was small enough that just about everyone dismissed it as a bird.

I like Mirage mesmers. You can do both power and condi builds, though their exclusive weapon, the axe, does specialize in condi damage. When doing power, I would use dual swords for melee with a greatsword in the second weapon set for range. My power mesmer went virtuoso now though. Condi mesmer is still mirage.

Funny thing, my main ranger is a soulbeast, but I have never used the dagger other than to try it once early on. Just didn't like it. I'm always using either the greatsword or longbow, and I have a pet that goes well with each.

  3. I like these reactions way more than the content where you just run along with a huge squad.
Feels more honest and more submerged in the content.

Have fun with PoF. I loved season 4 especially.
And absolutely put your mounts (we have 8) on key combinations. It makes a world of a dfference.

  4. people talk as if flying mounts are very easy to get (specifically Skyscale), but they don't talk about how tedious and how long it would take to acquire. I'm doing the Skyscale collection right now and let me tell you, the 250 gold I never had for the Griffon looked more appealing day by day.

  5. I mean, the flying mounts have so much effort required to unlock them that honestly the players deserve to trivialize whatever content they want at that point. And if they want to restrict themselves, they are free to do so.
