  1. Hey I want to talk about a recent event I had in PF since it kinda fits the topic of the video:

I recently went back in again into P11S again after a huge break to actually help people clear but I underestimated that I was so rusted with the game that I at multiple times fucked up D&L, especially looking out for where to stack with what kind of tether you have. D&L is really not hard but I was so ashamed of myself for fucking up (esp. when you wanted to help out actually) that I made even more mistakes way before D&L.
Common mistakes I made was either not reading correctly where to go, overadjusting because I wasnt too sure and then got clipped, or staying for a gcd too long so my partner also cannot move and I made them clip (playing healer so I was probably casting for too long).
Eventually I got called out for it (the party didnt know that I was a helper, never mentioned it) and then somewhat shamed for it that I do not know such a simple mechanic as D&L, despite me actually knowing the entire fight since I cleared it multiple times in PF before. It was just that I took a long break from the game, because of IRL reasons, and thought I can actually help this group clear because I did it so much before and P11S really is not so mega hard. I know myself that consistency was never really my strong suit, but it was never to this degree. Eventually when we still tried but wiped again several times (yes, I made a mistake again at D&L again, but also we wiped for other peoples mistakes) I got kind of shamed and blamed that we took so long in here and now people are drawn out because I wiped us so much before. I just left the group and never really went into PF again ever since. It was 2 weeks ago.
I kinda feel hollow since when it comes towards raidingin this game and it kinda feels that, since the start of the expansion, I regressed in terms of skill and execution. Aspho was my first savage raid on release and I have a lot of font memories of it, but since Abyssos I kinda feel like my aquired skill just regresses, especially long-term concentration.

But these kinds of videos from you and other cool content creators in the raiding space really lift my mood and make me kinda feel hopeful again, so thank you Alninio!

  2. Thank you LPDU to give us the opportunity to kill Ultimates on PF, with an universal strat, positions, mitigation, videos and toolbox…
When I look back, years ago when I asked to my friend about my wish of prog ultimate on pf, before LPDU born and he told me was impossible , that let me down. But now, LPDU allows me become quad legend and Im coming to penta after see Tea p4 yesterday.
If we are doing ultimates on PF is because LPDU and that’s a privilege and a revolution in this game, finally the casual and new players, with low raid experience can become legend too! ❀

  3. I just recently discovered your channel, and I'm really enjoying the positivity I'm getting from this. I'm trying to clear UWU, this gave me so much energy to do it, thank you, keep up the good stuff β™₯

  4. What you talk about at the beginning, it happened to my DSR prog. One dude was insanely toxic to me in PF + was claiming I was known for skipping mechanics and ppl should kick and blacklist me, and I just quit the prog and avoided ultimates for a while because I was so terrified this was what everyone thought of me. No one I encountered after coming back ever had me blacklisted and I cleared within a few days. Man, I was just struggling with p5 gaze cause I didn't know the timings :')

  5. Such true words, i totally agree man, thats one of the reasons i took a long break from the game as well, after i tried to get into savage raids and such, besides other things.
But thankfully the majority of the players have a same mindset as you and me, couldnt bare to think what it would be, if every player would be as toxic as some are.
Keep doing what youre doing man, sending much love to ya!

  6. i agree! i played with my friends, some who were fresh to savage into ult content like me and some who are hardcore raiders. they guided us and pushed us enough to study, but also they understood we're just learning for fun – and low and behold, my skill level is a lot better now!! on ninja no less 😊

  7. Man brother, you such a rare gamer/content creator. So many stuck with bullshit that only makes them money and subs, but you always with heart and passion ❀ even tho i am not in FF14, always love to check out your stuff ❀

  8. I legit only cleared DSR because my group encouraged me and worked with me to get through Doth. I was struggling with it and nearly quit the fight but having them encourage me and one guy even swapped with me to give me an end spot so there was less I had to worry about. We've now cleared DSR enough for us to have totems for every job, including the two releasing in DT.

Alninio is cooking with his advice.

  9. while i do agree with you, i also have to say that if you cant be told youre messing something up without you having a emotional crisis, then you probably should stay in your bubble. its bound to happen at some point, spare yourself the pain and stay where you are if you cant handle words every now and then. its the internet.

i will say that we as individuals should strive to be better, more positive and encouraging, but if youre not stable just chill your life in "normal" content.

  10. I agree with most things, but I also want to add that because of this I hate it when streamers join in such clear parties because it just adds to the stress to know that you now have so many ppl watching, and if the streamer is not in a good mood or toxic and says stuff like "man this guy is so bad" "he's not clear ready" "focus up man" you'll have all his chat mindlessly follow him and agree to whatever he says, there's already not a lot of people doing ultimates so having potentially all those people being put against you just because of some random streamer is the worst
Also yes, you should be proud of every step forward, that's also why I display my weapons in my house, so I can remind myself that I did it, and can do it again everytime I see them, but that's also why whenever I make a mistake I get more frustrated, because I shouldn't, I'm better then this and I should perform then this, and especially if I'm learning the fight, I don't wanna be the one to hold the group back
The worse is people telling "oh this fight is easy I cleared it in a week in PF" or stuff like that, just makes feel like sh*t when you're struggling with the fight, just makes you think "oh yeah so I am just bad, should I even get the clear? feels undeserved"

  11. There is a difference between being toxic and actual constructive criticism. There is also a difference between willing to learn and thinking criticism is toxic. I'm new to FFXIV but played ESO for many years. There are just some people that are toxic, and there are some not willing to learn. My core group in ESO would prog a trial, get it right and then pull a number of players in with us to get clears and teach mechs. It's fun for them and us. There is a way to go about it for sure. No offense but being good at video games is not a major life accomplishment, I think we felt better about helping others get clears than actually getting our own.
