One thing, if you do have a static is to get a group you can "vibe" with.
I know of a dude, who had a static was good but yeah the group thought he did not "vibe" with the rest of them and they kicked him out.
Don’t greed, Prioritize clear over logs and stay focused.
Dont leave After 2 try
If the group agrees to true north positions, use true north positions.
Don’t leave after 2 pulls even if you don’t make it to the prog point, they might have just gotten on and warming up. After 5 is ok and not seeing prog point is fine
Addle my fellow mages. Addle.
Mechanic before damage, even if you die to enrage you can learn the mechanic and find where you can greed.
Don’t over think your movement. You hesitating to get into a spread or kb spot can cause the party to scramble and get hit as well if they are tying to avoid you.
Telling people to watch a guide is great and all if the people making them weren't fucking regarded. M1S Hector is a classic example of a rushed video clearly intended to cash in on views while delivering some of the worst suggestions on mechanic handling ever. So no, I don't recommend people watch a guide. I've made better prog with full blind parties towards the end of this week than the ones trying to follow hector to the book, so the cause of the problem is evident.
