Haunting but beautiful
On all of the expansions ~ this is now my fave Title screen so far
2nd is the Shadowbringers and 3rd is the Heavensward
So this is the theme we’ll get for that mount after we get all 7 ex trial mounts, not bad!
Beautiful.
I like how the harp goes up and down the minor scale instead of the usual major scale. Really conveys a sense of forboding and finality.
Something unique that Soken did in this arrangement of the Prelude theme is that it's in a minor key instead of a major key, something , to my knowledge, that's barely ever done in a Final Fantasy game except in FF16's trailer. That's pretty cool
Damn, slapped myself in the face and said I'm gonna get through this expansion without getting emotional. This plays and I immediately know I'm gonna get emotionally wrecked. And I can't wait!

No spoilers: I am level 84, my mind has been so thoroughly fucked by this expansion I cannot believe it. Every storybeat is the most incredible and bold thing I have ever experienced in a video game.
This expansion makes Shadowbringers look insignificant in terms of the sheer bravery it took to produce a story as wild and fantastical as Endwalker.
Truly the greatest piece of fiction I have experienced in my life.

i feel like the meta mount (the one you get for having the mounts from the ex trials) will have this theme, as its been something they've done (with the exception of Heavensward) since A Realm Reborn.

The attention that this is getting is making me curious. I've only ever played one MMO, but I wonder how it would be to play one that has "no pay-to-win" and with an engaging story to tell.
If only it was a short experience, for me to be able to go through it in one sitting.
