  1. And they made a point of it with black and white flashback freeze frame. But it was great, only bad thing Wuk Lamat wasn't there to complete the moment. Man, even if she relived the entirety of our journey in one expansion she skipped the slowest, some may say most boring, parts!

  2. I find it amusing, that the sections with the 3 most recent expansions that a lot of people did not like was the section right before the rising actions.

In Shadowbringers, it is the trolley section. Which is the area, where we learn that we need to inspire the First to solve their own problems, to break themselves out of their own stagnation.

In Endwalker, we just ended the world, and meet the Loporrits, where we discovered that the Loporrits do not fully understand the problem they are meant to solve, which is meant to mirror our own misunderstanding of what we are up against.

In Dawntreader, we are sent to this zone, as if our role is done, because Wuk Lamat has not reconciled with the first promise. So we see what happens if a wound is left to fester for 30 years, which mirrors the festering wound of a failed solution to save their world of Alexandria.

Each time the story transitioning from a high energy story to low energy to allow build up occur. In Shadowbringers, we knew that Eulmore was about to catch us at any time. In Endwalker, we were wondering what that voice was and what that vision meant. In Dawntreader, we were wondering what the first promise was doing and what the voice at the golden gate was.
