In this video Xeno Reacts to @malachite7420’s video about Requies Cat, a FFXIV Raider that is very much obsessed with their parses on fflogs and gets mad at everyone who has a higher rank than them.

  1. Aww man, I have been observing this go down past couple days and had I wondered why the name was so familiar.

Turns out, req was one of the tanks helping with the DSR C42 (me and the smn) PF a few weeks back…and unsurprisingly haste to being at the very least mildly toxic on p6 dragon HP wipes to the ranged players now makes so much more sense after all this…. (cleared late that lockout after 2 p7 wipes anyhow but still, bit uncalled for ngl that day. Nobody is like trolling p6 on purpose after all)

Still all this and yet this ego inflation of his is just running so deep…to rage at a mit sheet that works really well for PF is just, well it just shows madness to say the least…this is one deep rabbit hole thats for sure.

  2. I dont really get into drama, i dont do the big raids, maybe someday when im confident, but this boiled my fucking blood, ok bitch about shit, complain i dont care, but do not and i mean DO NOT distespect the work they put in by altering their fucking work, it did the job, it got the clear, even i know that even if it wasnt the perfect full 100% perfect everything, it still worked, so go fuck yourself, i dont give a fuck if you were the best player or fucking yoshi p coming in, dont fuck with others work like that.

Sorry to rant but dont disrespect others like that, its just wrong.

  3. not sure about other jp dcs but the jp elemental and mana dc does do savage and ults 100%. mainly because most elemental players are from oce/sea region. whenever a new fight comes out, mana dcs have over 200+ pf in total. elemental has a smaller pf community but theres still a scene there. oh ive also heard that now req’s rep is ruined he might be coming over to elemental to raid.

  4. Like there are people in LPDU who genuinely want to help newcomes get more clears, but the majority of them are just hunting for the better parse. Like they can pretend it's all to help people, but let's be real, that shit is more of a symbiotic relationship with newbies than to be genuinely helpful. And most disgusting part, is that they got some shitters who don't shut up the whole instance but manage to commit the most cringe griefing in p6, often times we're stuck in wb1 and wb2 because these helpers are greeding like crazy whilst disrespecting the tether stretch.

  5. I don't see a universe where the efficiency of your DMG gives you the self endowed credentials to criticize mitigation plan. Totally different things, if anything I trust someone with lower parses more on mit cause they're probably a safe player, not trying to drop something to focus on their output. Sure there is great value in someone who pumps and covers the party, but you can't get that info just based off someone's pb number

  6. I know it wasn't the point of the video at all – but anyone else super happy for Wave in all this? Poor guy got fucked over – I've seen similar toxicity break people and make them quit, instead he seems to be thriving – good for him!

  7. Holy shit this is wow parsers all over again.
I'd rather take someone who can consistently get a raid done in under 5 attempts than someone who is trying to parse high who cant do it in 50.
When you use the tool for measuring performance throughout as a metric for success you lose sight of the win condition.
Consistently being able to clear something hard is way more impressive than a guy who has only cleared it once and keeps speaking of the one time he did a semi decent parse.
    Pathetic.

Why is it always the same idiots that are mid at best acting like they know everything.
If you know better – make a better setup. Prove it rather than sitting back and bitching while doing nothing productive.

  8. Wait, so is this entire shit just some guy stirring up drama by being upset that people are doing things in a way they find comfortable and consistent? Like I can understand providing constructive criticism on strats, but he just shits on others. This is wild, who the actual fuck unironically gets this heated over a spreadsheet, lmfao

  9. 😂only player who is #1 is the guy with 100% all achievements in game. Fflogs isnt even mention by yoshi p but the best achievement holder practically even in positive mentions.
