I loved the Corpse Groom questline! Taking on Tam Tara Deepcrose (hard) for the first time and meeting some old friends..

  1. Oh this questline is SO GOOD. It's an early hint of how dangerously good the writing team are at setting up long-running consequences.

Awwwww passing on the love to sprouts. This game is filled with such lovely people that make my day every day.

  2. What a depressing dungeon. It's wild to think that these people were all people you could see during MSQ. At the start, before Sastasha, you can see them all. The archer, the thaumaturge, the gladiator, and the conjurer. This all started because the gladiator got killed during one of their early dungeon runs… Literally had his head removed, which Edda kept and went absolutely insane over. Such a creepy, distressing story but really good too.

  3. 2:55 — This is something many people miss (I did, too, the first playthrough) : Liavinne joined the Scions shortly after you, meaning us. During your quests for Minfilia, if you go to the room where your other colleges hang out, she is there too, doing simple tasks. If you ask her she will tell you that she has many regreds and that the man she loved recently died. Aka, Avere.

Sooo… if it rains… and if its dark… go to Gridania… and look for the lamp poles… You might see something… a certain someone… there ^.^

Also, off with you to the Palace of the Dead XD

  4. Just wait. Referencing previous content is common. One of my favorite stories ties a few crafting quest chains together with major events from ARR and 1.0, as well as a job quest and side content.

Some chains even tie into FATEs.

  5. This is a reminder that I need to try out Palace of the Dead one of these days to finally see the conclusion to Edda's story. Although I don't know if any of the loot is still worth it or not, given that I'm currently in Heavensward patch quests…
