  1. Dude, I am so happy that wifey and I have the privilege of playing this darn video game. An MMORPG has no right to bring about feels this powerful. INB4 the "there's still more to come!" commenters 😂 I already believe you at this point. Just wow.

  2. So glad y’all are enjoying the game, and even more grateful you take the time to edit and post your playthrough, I love “being a part of” your journey. Shadow bringers is a masterpiece, so well written, it really does make you feel like the npc’s are family, and from how protective you two get over them, I know you feel it, too. ❤️ The story really is something that binds people together, and I think it’s a huge part of why this community is the way it is, what we experience “together” ❤️

  3. Thancred is the protective dad.
    Urianger is the hammy uncle.
    Y'shtola is the sassy mom.
Alisae is the feisty boisterous sister.
Alphinaid is the brother which had a hatd time maturing, but is becoming the eisrst of all.

The Scions are becoming a family.

  4. That god damn music at 33:50… god dammit… here we go again with the leaky eyes. They use that damn tune so damn brutally.

When you get to that point in the future… make sure you do the Eden raids, they’re extremely heavily focused on Ryne’s story.

  5. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Shadowbringers was the expansion where the Scions REALLY started feeling like a family.

Also, I had to rewind the high-speed discussion because I totally agreed (and was laughing) The Twine story felt like such a speedbump at first.

I was also ready to break something if Thancred had died. When the screen started flashing white and the sad music was playing, I was just like: No… no…. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  6. I believe this is when the "feels" in "Shadowbringers" starts to ramp up. Can't wait to see your reactions. It's the only way I can relive that experience lol.
Oh, and yeah, tissues on standby. :'D

  7. (3.4)Minfillia: My dearest Thancred… You who have ever watched over me… I am truly grateful for all you have done on my behalf, as would my father be. Your kindness, your compassion, your love… These are your gifts to me, and our gifts to them, forming a bond which transcends time and space.

Thancred: Sometimes I forget you are not the child I once know. Make me proud.

(5.0)Your kindness, your compassion, your love… Then and now. One last time, with a little help, I'm so proud to have been a part of your life.

I just love the details here where they bring back 3.4 quotes

  8. What I have always thought of Thancred being distant at first to then Minifilia was that he didnt want to influence her decision when the time came. It's absolutely gorgeous writing.

  9. Cob/WoL: "Before you go Mini, can you tell us who the Exarch is?"
    Minfilia: 😊
    Viewers: 😊
Cob/WoL: "Tell uuuuuussssss (Minfilia disappears). Nooooooooo! she's gone…"

a smile better suits a spoiler

  10. Just a comment about the writing of the story part at the beginning:

If you think back to ARR, remember all the parts that felt pointless at the time you were going through them? 😉
