  1. 1. If you're gonna wall to wall, commit to it. Don't sit there hit 4 GCDs before deciding you want more. 1 GCD and an oGCD, is pretty much all that's needed while throwing ranged attacks. 2 GCD max.
    2. Don't run to straight to the wall once you've gathered the packs, just plant yourself at the second pack.
    3. Those grey, and green circles on the ground are NIN, and SMN dots. Don't drag the mobs out of them.
    4. This really shouldn't have to be said considering how big they are now, but stay in your healers bubbles. I just a tank run out of Asylum doing #2.
    5. PROVOKE when you die. No DPS appreciates tanking the floor after eating a tankbuster because they're getting smacked for 30 seconds after the tank has been revived.

  2. If you are playing a level 56+ WAR, for the love of all that is holy, spam raw intuition/ blood whetting every time your health get to half. That one ability will make you near unkillable you don’t even NEED a healer when doing most dungeons pass 56

  3. As a RDM main that has had the "fortune" of vertanking quite a bit because of these… Trust your healers, especially if your in an 8 or 24 man raid. Also be aware of your surroundings I've had many tanks get knocked off ledges because they were not paying attention to where they were in the arena. If you are an OT make sure to pick up adds while the MT is on the boss. Also while OT keep an eye on everyone's health, sometimes DPS will pull off the MT if they are focusing in down one target and not weaving in AOE's to keep agro up, or in cases of multiple bosses in alliance raids the other tank dies… this is where I end up vertanking most of the time or the other boss starts to nom on tasty healer treats. Great guide btw.

  4. My suggestion is that always use range attack first rather than provoke since its have 30s cooldown and range attack already generate half of provoke enmity gain, meaning 2 range attack = 1 provoke
I personally only use provoke for emergency hate gain, or when need to switch tank
but that just my personal playstyle opinion
