    I'm not sure about Astro, cus other healers got something neat without getting a complete rework. And limitations to card drawing timers + fusing with Sects is… I dunno, kinda disappointing :т (still mad at yet another complete rework and time wasting on learning the new system when other healers just go and heal) And Oracle debuff would be so damn cool! Kinda like Asylum but smol shield instead of healing. P. S. SCH's Seraphism form looks SO DAMN COOL! I'm now thinking about making it my new main…. watches her yellow bar piercing the fabric of reality

  3. I have questions on these AST changes:

    1. MP regen
    from what the skill reads, we've kept draw's restore 5% MP, but that's now on a 1 minute cooldown instead of 30 and doesn't look like it applies to the cards themselves. Also, we've lost Astrodyne's guaranteed MP regen. I mean I know AST's MP regen was ridiculous before since I haven't had to use lucid dreaming since unlocking Astrodyne, but this feels like it will hurt, and also ASTs were known for their ridiculous MP regen so that's going to hurt our rep on top of losing most of our DPS contribution in the form of 3 card burst windows.

    2.DMG
    I always thought that AST's pitifully low potency numbers was due to the fact that we had multiple cards that can buff allies and so while our team dmg contribution is high, our personal dmg has to be set low to offset that, which made sense. But now that they've taken away a lot of our team dmg potential, namely 2 of our opening burst window buff cards, 10% dmg self buff on Astrodyne, and 10% spell speed up, what does this mean for our own personal dmg? I see that they've buffed Lord of crowns to a 400 potency from 250, and that they've given us that new DMG skill Oracle with 600, but is that enough? WHM already has insane dmg numbers, and now that they've been given glare IV, and SCHs have their new DOT that equates to 700 potency, and SGEs get what is basically a better version of Oracle anyways, it feels like ASTs are falling behind even more in terms of damage. Like, we're still the only healers who can "buff" allies, but with how gutted it is compared to before, how confidently can we say that the new potency numbers are able to make up for it? Or is it, and I am coping really hard right now, that because DPS roles are getting new dmg skills, the increase in DPS classes overall damage warrants decreasing AST's buffs because otherwise it'd be too strong?

    Not going to lie, i feel like our reputation as the buffing healer is gutted. Like what is there now that makes ASTs unique and marketable to players? What will incentivize players to pick up AST? I played AST cus I was like "OOH ITS HARD AND ITS THE ONLY HEALER TO BUFF ALLIES" and also cus Welkin set is the greatest AST glamour of all time( fight me). But now they've simplified the playstyle and nerfed the buffs, what is there in the kit that will make players go "oooh that sounds fun" beyond skill FXs and sexy hats.

  4. I can't wait to try astro, new card system looks way more intresting than in endwalker, but sun sign… Idk, it feels like they didn't know what to give at level 100.

  5. 4:46 I don't know if I'm crazy or not but I think Blue Mage's Off-guard and Peculiar Lights spells are oGCD's with a cast time and I can't really find mention of this anywhere
    Then again I am a casual Blue Mage so I'm probably not looking hard enough

  7. isn't sage's eudaimonia (the additional effect of philosophia) just aoe kardia? it says "landing spells" but not specifically "healing spells" (like synastry) or "magic attack" (like kardia)… so it's more like aoe kardia combined with mini plenary indulgence?

  8. Question since you've been hands on with it. How to Seraphism feel in regards to the vibe of Scholar's kit? cause my gut keeps telling me its a departure from how it normally feels to play.
