There Can Only Be ONE Azure Dragoon – FFXIV Dragoon Finale

This is the end of the dragoon questline. We have gone from some unwieldly lancer to a sky diving dragoon but this cannot be complete without a fated meeting against Estinien.

  1. Yalms are basically the Eorzean word for Yard/Meters
    it goes like this
    ilm = inch/Centimeters in+cm = ilm
    yalm = Yard/Meters yd+m = yalm
    malm = Mile/Kilometers mi+km = malm

    They basically combined the two units to make a new one that is approx. the size of what they imply. So… ilm is roughly between an inch and cm, yalm is roughly 3 feet since yards and meters are very close, and malms are inbetween miles and kilometers. At least thats the way I understand it.

  2. You may have felt over powered for these quests because for Endwalker they did a stat squish to help balance out the health of players, also they got rid of belts so they redistributed the stats to other gear. Level 1-50 would be relatively unchanged other than the added stats transferred from the belts but that could make a big difference anyway.

  3. If you go down the dark knight quest line, there's going to be a part where they're like we think something might be hidden at the bottom of witch drop and you're going to find it and you're going to be like how the hell did everyone else miss this?!

  4. One of the most fun things to do with dragoon is to use that backflip to gtfo of AOEs, or to use it while running around for a burst of speed by doing a 180 before pressing the button.

  5. Distances in FFXIV are just renamed FREEDOM units. ilms are inches, fulms are feet, yalms are yards, malms are miles. Same logic applies to all other fictional units in this game.
    They use imperial units for everything. I suppose it's correct to use antiquated units in a fantasy setting.

  6. I'm really impressed you have leveling and going through the story down to a science 😊
    Edit: I didn't mean to add that emoji, I'm actually really embarrassed my thumb hit that enjoy when I was typing this out in my phone. This is so embarrassing.

  7. I will never forgive the game for putting a giant gaping tummy window on the girl version of the lv 45/lv 50 dragoon armor. I love the set so male much…….but can't use it on my character because she's a girl and instead of the good armor I get a stupid ugly tummy window.

    True but also… totally a low bar. After getting all Jobs to 80 WAR easily has one of the worst questlines in the game, all the way until the end. I'd say THE worst honestly but I think popular opinion on that goes to Paladin.
    On the bright side, as you explore other Jobs (which you SHOULD, getting all 80s was a long but satisfying journey, mostly) you can generally look forward to mostly pretty good questlines, especially since you got one of the most boring ARR ones out of the way first.

  10. This isnt really spoilers so much as it's lore, but feel free not to read it if you dont want it. The lore you can literally get before starting the game at that.
    The Fury is Halone, which is one of Eorzea's 12 deities. She is fiercely worshipped by the people of Ishgard. She is who they pray to before going into battle.

  11. Not all job quests are created equal and dragoon is one of the better ones. I also particularly like summoner and scholar. Warrior gets better with time, but is still more farce than epic.

  12. Damn, this is making me want to pick up Dragoon again on my second character even though it doesn't quite fit the set of rules I set for playing her. Played it as the main class from the start on my first character, and got that itch when I popped back over to him to do the FF16 event recently. Maybe I'll try it out again to see what the DT rework does to the class.

  13. I'm so glad you are sticking with this game! I've watched your entire series so far, your editing and voice over is really good and just overall a great addition to the small but mighty ranks of XIV youtube content πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
