  3. V'mah Tia is one of Arenvald's companions. And judging by the fact that he is still Tia and not Nhun he isn't in a position to recreate so I dont think F'lhaminn is in much danger of unwanted advances from him.

It really sucks because a LARGE part of Minfilia's character development happened back in 1.0 and therefore is fully locked off to anyone in the playerbase who wasn't around to experience it back then. They dropped the ball hard in ARR not giving us more time to get to know her and her past, and how she became the person she is nowadays. So unless you knew about that part of her backstory already, its hard to really care about her as a character in ARR, and especially here in HW. It just rings hollow.

    Its one of my biggest annoyances about the way the handled the switch over from 1.0 to ARR – a lot of important lore and story was just left behind and the assumption is that it somehow didn't matter?

  5. In the Japanese original, Thancred outright refers to Minfilia as his little sister. The English localisation likes to make a lot of things more ambiguous than they need to be.

  7. I like to take the NPCs along on my first run of dungeons whenever possible. Lets me take in the sights at my own pace and learn mechanics without slowing real people down. You even get to take them along for a particular trial in Endwalker!

  8. I've said it before but I don't remember if it was in Skyens' comment section, so I'll say it again.
    My perfect FFXIV conversation would be in Matoyas' cave sharing tea & cookies, discussing all of Y'shtolas' embarrassing stories so I could bug her with them.
