  1. In the live letter they said this: "Containment Bay P1T6 could be considered the origin of brain-teaser mechanics in FFXIV, and a new variation of its mechanics will be introduced in its Unreal counterpart." I wonder what this variation will be, perhaps some change to the clone orientation, safe zones on the arena, "weights" of the meteors on the scales???
This will be very fun, and very frustrating as a healer picking up all these corpses.

  2. 3:25 – Fun fact with Point #1. If one side has more tethers than the other, that is ALWAYS the side to run to. The only time you really need to look for blue meteors is if the number of tethers is the same on both sides. (This is in fact, the complete opposite of Normal, where you would go to the side with fewer tethers.)

  3. one bit that i'm surprised you didn't mention: i can't remember if it's every time or most times, but when Sophia is doing Thunder II Execute, the clones spawn in a pattern where there's a big safe spot in one corner of the arena. for the baited Quasar, it's much easier to drop quasars on the side of the arena away from that big safe spot. my experience back in the day is a lot of PF groups couldn't decide where to drop baits–do you drop them away from that empty corner or away from the safe clone? so party members would kind of half-and-half it, usually leading to a wipe

  4. At 7:18 when you mentioned these Black and White Rings are totally correct.

    I'd add this tip/info:
Priority to handle the Ring Pairing Mechanic.
    1. Pairing CORRECTLY = nothing
    (1 White Ring + 1 Black Ring)

    2. NOT Pairing = weak Bleeding
    (avoid doing the mechanic)

    3. Pairing WRONG = AoE, Bleeding, Debuffs
(more than 1 of the same Color, i.e. 2 White Ring + 1 Black Ring)

    Stacking CORRECTLY > NOT Stacking
