I also left WoW towards the beginning of Warlords as well and switched to FF14
I wouldn't want wow adding tokens etc for getting mounts from raids. I don't like that idea at all. I like some mounts being rare

The best part of this beside how fun Zepla is… is zack breaking through the fourth wall and saying "YEA WE HAVE A PRODUCTION TEAM… AND THIS IS WHAT IT GETS YOU T.T"
The only problem I have with FF14 is that it has way too much dead content and eureka and everything similiar which followed after because it was boring since it´s release and dead after a couple of months which makes it even worse for people who took a break or started playing later. PvP although the 4v4 mode is very good it is just dead.
it the exact same with BDO… Black Desert has the winning product. They have the game established and great. All they need to do is start listening to the players… Unfortunately BDO will likely go down as another fantastic game with shit developers.
i hated 75% of FFxiv when i tried it and hated it more the more i played it, RPGMMO alright i want MMORPG thank you!
Having to play endless stories to get your toon ANYWHERE is not my mmo thrill anymore, did that with Everquest back in the day, also EQ that made me give up FFXiv in EQ if you didnt have the raid dropped upgraded top tier spells, you were trash in.
FFXIV at max level i was lacking over 50%of my spells F that…and i was still like 3 Xpac,s behind and had to go thru 103.453.245 more story quests i couldnt care less about.

I noticed Zepla said she would come back to WOW IF they listened to the players. I want to say that is the most infuriating thing about Ion. He will go on stage parade around and say "Well guys, we the development team asked ourselves what could we do to make the experience enjoyable for the players. We got a lot of feedback and we decided to take that into consideration because you matter." then they do exactly the opposite. like they are punishing us for having an opinion about something we spend money and time on.

I'm glad for the hype of FFXIV but as an OG FF player and not a WoW bandwagon because my favorite streamer switched, so im switching. I am worried about those people clashing with our elite like behavior. Coming to the community claiming themselves as elites in MMO and gate keeping features they like and steering the game in the direction of what WoW went too lol.
I wonder if Zepla ever went back and played any of the previous games? It's a little funny, since I basically grew up on FF but never even touched XIV until about 2 weeks ago. The vibe for me feels very XII-ish. I don't think you need to know anything about the series to enjoy it, but there are a lot of references and fanservice for those that do.
