Out of curiosity, how well versed are you with the Twelve? You say you don’t know much about them, but you did guess Rhalgr. And I forgot who you chose as your patron deity.
G'raha…where is he going? My son, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! ISHIKAWA DONT HURT ME LIKE THIS PLEASE I BEG OF THEE
I am way to hype for this and the fact that it’s here on the 12th I’m so ready (not really)
Releasing on the 12th and featuring the Twelve? Hell yeah!
im ready to see this story continue
My reaction: "I've been waiting, I can't tell what's happening, but I'm definitely hyped"
Hey Chad. I know as little as you, so I'll just share my guesses. The map: It shows the same symbol as the "Watchful eye of Thavnair", which should be Vritra. But I guess it's just referencing that it's an island near Thavnair. As for the Twelve: Yes you did spot Rhaglr! He was basically the exact same design as the statue. As for the rest, it's possible to work it out. The hammer-wielding god is Byregot, god of craftsmen. The fiery winged deity is Azeyma (her symbol is all over the area and she's a sun goddess, hence the fire). And the two gods together is almost positively Nald'Thal, twin gods and patron gods of Ul'dah.
As for Thordan at the end, yeah he's part of Dragonsong war. It's a re-imagining, so all bets are off. Hraesvelgr has a neuro-link, and they're refusing to show anything about the fight at all.
Look at him. Look at our boy watching current patch trailers as they drop. Welcome to the waiting room!
It's good to have Fourchenault fighting again as a sage. As in the Endwalker tank, melee DPS, magic DPS, ranged DPS, and healer role quests, respectively, Kan-E-Senna returns fighting as a conjurer / white mage, Merlwyb returns fighting with her pistols, Aymeric returns fighting as a gladiator / paladin (just a knight in the Japanese version), Hien returns fighting as a samurai, and Raubahn returns fighting as a gladiator.* Nero is also back from MSQ and Omega fighting with his gunhammer. To see Vrtra acitvely participate as Varshahn… I talked with Fourchenault in Labyrinthos after finishing Endwalker 6.0. He's on top of one of the structures. Thordan is part of one of the new Ultimate raids. Even longtime FFXIV veterans don't know much about the Twelve. Y'shtola wants to see her boyfriend Runar again on the First. Remember how Y'shtola told Runar back in Shadowbringers 5.3 that she would find a way back to the First? "On such a day…" I knew the FFXIV devs had it planned back then, and commented so in Shadowbringers videos on YouTube in the previous one or two years. What Cid and his Ironworks cohorts Biggs, Wedge, et al., and their followers in the future learned from the Omega raids, interdimensional travel, and from the Alexander raids, time travel, enabled G'raha Tia from the future (Crystal Exarch) to travel through space and time from the Source to the First aboard the Crystal Tower, Elidibus using the Crystal Tower on the First to help send us back 12,000 years ago on Etheirys to Elpis, etc.
Well, Emet-Selch did "spoil" many of our future adventures near the end of Endwalker 6.0., didn't he?
Those weren't throwaway lines Natsuko Ishikawa wrote for him.
And about Hythlodaeus saying that we may meet again, "perhaps in another" life, and that it will be a "joyous reunion"…
You can probably count on it.
*Yeah, I completed all the Endwalker role quest lines.
Emet said something about "the sacred sites on the south sea isles"
That must be where we are going
So the Alliance Raid will be divided based on the elements of each of the gods. The first tier will be with the Lightning and Fire dieties:
Byregot the Carpenter, the god of industry, architecture, and the arts.
Rhalgr the Destroyer, god of destruction and breaker of worlds.
Azeyma the Warden, keeper of the sun and goddess of inquiry.
Nald'thal the Traders, twin gods of commerce and transactions and keepers of the underworld.
Love they're using the Festival of the Hunt music from FF9.
