This is my journey as a new player, a sprout, from WoW to FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, leading on through Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, Endwalker and finally into the brand new expansion, Dawntrail.
Having played MMORPG’s for over 20 years and being a long time World of Warcraft player from vanilla classic up to the latest expansion The War Within, I have seen and played A LOT of different MMO’s over the years, but nothing could have prepared me for the adventures that await in Square Enix masterpiece, Final Fantasy 14.

Ysayle's death hit me a lot harder that Haurchefant's. She was part of your party, and you got see her arc first hand. From enemy to ally. From heretic leader to fallen without purpose, to give her life up for one last hope at achieving peace between man and dragon. And even Estinien grew to respect her. Also it wasn't the single most spoiled moment in FFXIV.
THe Bahamut story is in the coil and to know more without spoiling you may need to go back in ARR storylines where you meet midgardsormr.
