  1. Lynx Kameli has no idea what he's talking about. He has not even played Endwalker, he last played in 2019. They both clueless, Asmongold didn't even beat Stormblood.

  2. If the poll included consoles it would probably be more like 75% consoles, 20% steam, 5% SE or maybe not since Bellular is more of a PC centric channel.

Either way I'd take it with a grain of salt given 10k votes on 1 twitter page just can't accurately portray the playerbase. The number is still too small maybe if it had 500k votes.

  3. Why would anyone want to hear your take about a video with a dishonest personal take on FFXIV, when you yourself did the same when you "quit" endwalker?

    Yawn.

  4. Its what I always said i love FF but 14 keeps making the same wash rinse repeat type of content with every expansion and this where i give it to wow atleast they attempt to change it every other expansion.

Another thing i wanted to add is i wish FF14 would have class specific gear that increase they’re skills or either a personal or general skill tree to maximize damage or healing output anything to change it up imo.

  5. A majority of FF14's community isn't actually vocal or active in the community like with most. And like in most, they tend to have opinions that deviate from the vocal. The best view we can get of the community is from people who scrape the publicly available information like LuckyBancho.

Consistency of early mechanics is one of the things I applaud FF14 for. It's great being able to recognize a marker and know how to react to it. Different bosses use different combinations of them and this should be a strong point. The problem I have with the game is that from late Stormblood on, they started to deviate from this and just stopped using it altogether, leading to situations like Omega's Starboard and Larboard. Going back to change the indicators to make them more consistent with future expansions, but not adding the visual indicators is baffling to me when you remember the problem they had with The Aurum Vale. In my opinion, they need to fix this for the casual content rather than just letting some of them fall off for later. You can still continue to make unique mechanics for raids, but try to keep them as consistent as possible for the casual player base.

As for story, Endwalker felt like it had less of a plan than just "end everything because we need to get to the next story".

  6. FFWoTV have a community of 5k active players per day ( based on pvp rank ) and during official lives and stuff on youtuber we barelly can see 1k. FF14 its not different, its just few players who consume this kind of material. Thats why the game survives thru era. No anxiety of " m i living right ?" … they just play and consume the game.. period.

  7. Most people fantasize about Sandbox MMOs in their head but in reality they hate Sandbox MMORPGS. What players really want is a theme park MMORPG with large scale content. The general compliant about FFXIV boils down to not enough large scale content. This can be remedied by adding back content like Eureka/Bozja, Ishgardian Restoraidarion and Deep Dungeons. Also vary the party size of savage with 8, 16 and 24 man to have a scaling difficulty.

  8. But but but Brian! I'm ok with 1 game! Lol I play other games and have been enjoying them. But FF11 has been so much fun for me, and the feeling of accomplishment for getting BiS feels good. But breaks are needed 🥵 the grind is real. I'm just a guy who loves to play with others. PvP games of anykind and MMOs of anykind except WoW. 😂

  9. I’ve watched all of of the reactions of this guy and this guy gets buried. Should’ve watched Pyro he completely destroys this little kid, because towards the end, he starts acting like a child and insulting everyone in the game

  10. That guy has no idea what he is talking about with them not investing money and I've said this on other reacts to this video but Endwalker had 32 dungeon remakes/restructures with the bosses sometimes being changed to work with Duty Support along with solo duties made to replace some of the poorly designed ARR trials on top of the usual content. We got DC Travel so you can now play with everyone on your DC instead of just the one you selected. Those things cost money and if we want to be technical some of those 32 dungeons are new experiences placing Endwalker above the previous expansions in dungeon count.

  11. I played up until a few months after Endwalker came out. On the surface, FF14 has everything i wanted in an MMO. I liked taking my time and soloing through the story. Even could use NPCs for most dungeons now. The combat started off slow and picked up as time went on.

However there isnt anything to do beyond Raiding for end game. PvP is an afterthought and wholly unsatisfying. You can craft but most things can easily be bought off the marketplace or you can get much better drops.

This idea that end game needs to revolve only around dungeons/raiding is what really kills it for most. They get to endgame and just dont feel like repetitively running the same raid over and over again.

And while FF14 gives you some more casual options, none of those options advance you anywhere.

Imagine sitting on your throne. You need not money, fame, or glory. You have it all. Youve defeated the strongest monsters, raids, and even players. You've acquired so much wealth you have no use for it. You own a castle, servants, and the best gear to be had. What else is there?

End game should not stop progression. Stopping progression means you cannot go any further. Its essentially virtual suicide because theres nothing left. You wander aimlessly looking for something to do, but its all just a bore at this point. So the only thing you can really do is wait for a new expansion.

You need more options for end game. However you make the game, who its targeted at, is irrelevant because you cant please everyone. However you can accommodate both sides to a degree. We need more depth to a game than just "armor, weapons, money, smash, kill".
