  1. Lost City of Amdapor. Diabolos is just generally a cool boss, and it was great when they based the Alliance Raid series after him. Plus his fight was somewhat tough; another fight where players struggled to actually beat it sometimes not just because of the door mechanics, but because he did quite a bit of damage, especially if you screwed the doors up. Not Charibert hard though.

  2. the bald man remembers the old time, back then he was still hair man. A fearfull, weak man, but the centuries have molded him to ultimate warrior. Now he can save the elf boy whose words brought so many to tears

  3. Omg, Shandra Manaya, best dungeon, best final boss. Tera back then truly one of a kind and ahead of its competition in the genre on combat system. I miss Tera (and Manaya) so much.

  4. The Vault from a story/lore point of view is probably the best one.
However I'm an enjoyer of the glam from Shisui of the Violet Tides, especially when you put it on a catgirl or bunny girl.
But I'm also a fan of some of the more whimsical dungeons like Matoya's Relict, The Antitower and other such dungeons that doesn't make sense.

  5. Ser Charibert did not mess around on launch. The healing required was very intense and I've had many groups disband due to the healer just not being able to output the healing required. Ser Grinnaux deleted a lot of people as well.

Dead Ends is probably my favourite dungeon. The bosses were fun, the atmosphere was just beautifully depressing, and that OST. I still get shivers whenever I do that dungeon.

  6. Personally?
    The Ghimlyt Dark, bar none.

The Build Up, the Anticipation, mechanics, the BGM, Bosses and all the NPCs coming around to help you. Everything is just perfect.

  7. I miss the older style of dungeons. Back when there were actually diverging paths, items you had pick up, puzzles you had to solve or mobs you should avoid or interrupt. They also didn't have many walls that stop you from pulling more. Those dungeons actually had a learning curve to them.

  8. oh yeah that final boss was great. it also made me really fell in love with monk. dancing around the boss, avoiding the aoe's while hitting the positionals was amazing

  9. Heavensward Healing was incredibly tough compared to nowadays. The game was just harder in general, i know toughness doesnt make a game good, but fuck me it made the rewards feel so much sweeter.

  10. The burn. The somber music and the desolate vista of the desert while passing through a magitek facility, ending with the mist dragon that actually used to be a check to see if you had a pulse or not on release was a real treat. Ofc everything is neutered nowadays so that last part is gone.

  11. I've always loved Temple of the Fist but due to the way Duty Roulette works it's one of those dungeons you just never get to see anymore, which is a shame.

  12. mine is probably Qitana Ravel, even if i didn't like ShB that much. good pulls, and no obnoxious bosses.

Vault is definitely 2nd though, if only because playing lvl 58 jobs nowadays feels like shit.

back in the day, it was goated. taught me how to actually heal.

  13. dead ends i think is my fave dungeon. i love the story of it, healing is also actually really fun in it and pulling wall to wall is challenging. and i also like that stuff hits hard there.

  14. Carn Dûm from LotRO before they broke it into smaller sections. Very expansive with multiple ways to go, great boss fights, keys to unlock different paths. I spent a lot of time in that game farming it

  15. Ffxiv I think has too many REALLY good dungeons to pick a favorite. The vault is definitely up there, along with Amaurot. I will say, one of my favorite dungeons from any mmo isn't actually from ffxiv, or wow, it's from Aion. Way the fuck back when Aion. I can't remember the name to save my life, but it was a vampire dungeon that you did around your late 20s, early 30s I think?
