  1. 10:33 This is horrible advice. If there's only 2-3 melee, they will be constantly focused by the enemy team and get deleted since they're the only ones in range and contesting the point. The more people you have at the point, the more the enemy team will struggle to focus on specific targets and get kiIIs. If you're playing a ranged dps class and your mp is full after all of your melee die because you didn't bother to fight alongside them, you're griefing and shouldn't be playing ranked. Seriously, having ranged classes is a massive disadvantage at the moment because no one knows how to position themselves.
It's like soaking a stack marker with 2 people instead of 8.

  2. Biggest issue I've seen so far is that too many melee/tanks go chasing for the kill, leaving squishier classes like myself (a Machinist.) alone to be jumped by the newly rez'd enemy team. That said, some good tips in this video. Had NO idea about the chocobo marker/black feather.

  3. Move with the crystal. That is all. Absolutely primitive mod and you will still meet players who are not able to do even this one simple thing. And if you know you don't have at least a two-digit IQ, don't go ranked.

  4. I know WAR is pretty up there in terms of strengths, but just having the IDENTITY of a strong as hell, hard to kill, crowd controlling dive tank is… so goddamn fun. It's why Warrior is my favorite tank job aesthetically and it's nice to see it reflect mechanically here now.

    Fuckin' man mode.

  5. Something I would’ve liked to see: don’t be afraid to fall back if a fight isn’t going your way. Trying to take the enemy team on 2v5 isn’t going to help and then when your allies get up now there’s only 3 of them vs the whole team

  6. I hope they add a team death match down the line. Maybe on a field that gets smaller and smaller after every minute w/ a hazard depending on the field type (burn, bleed, electrocution, heavy, poison, etc.).

  7. Always control the battlefield. One tactic I use is to take a bit of damage and then immediately scooping up all the potion bottles lying around to deny the enemy team a secondary heal source.

  8. CC is so good though I hope they tone down the Crowd control the lack of stuns was one of the best things in the old pvp system but everything else sucked.

Granted I don’t thing the answer here is less stuns but more escape methods being stunned only to escape and get stunned again and killed targeted the whole game whilst your team does nothing to help isn’t fun.

Otherwise I have no complaints hopefully this guide will help with my issue since people not helping seems to be due to a misunderstanding of the game mode!
