My favorite track from FFXIV and luckily, it fits really well on the guitar. This is easily going to be a stream staple. I wanted to finish up the video for FanFest Japan, and I also included it on my new compilation album Video Game Guitar Covers, Vol. 6.

I’m playing IRL FFXIV live sets at GATEway Fate in St. Louis in October. Looking forward to it! https://gatewayfate.carrd.co/

  1. Easily one of my favorites from the game too, and such a beautiful arrangement! Your love for the Source is felt in all your covers, but this seems so soulful.
Thank you, John, for sharing another beautiful cover with us!
Like Troian Beauty, this is another I wish we could have on our orchestrions!

  2. Ul'dah was my starting town! So many hours of hearing this on repeat grinding goldsmith and digging through the market for mats. I can still hear the sounds of like 10 people crafting right in front of the market board

  3. My starting town, favorite city to hang in and one of my favorite songs in the game. ❤️ so many hours spent in Ul'dah lounging, chatting, crafting, etc. This hits me with such a wall of emotions, I love it! ❤️ this brings me a sense of comfort.
