I have nothing but respect for ppl that play correctly this class.
Its not as bad as you think, the major part of the class is gonna be figuring out the best placement for leylines in savage raid.
I tried blackmage once before and failed miserably.. bad at it and move on to other job 🙁
Black Mage is the secret dps class for farming easy commendations in normal content. As soon as you use Aetherial manipulation, triplecast, swiftcast and between the leylines to ZOOMZOOM around the map thus avoiding every aoe, doing every mechanics while maintaining full uptime on your rotation, the other player feels compelled to commend you. The sight of a moving BLM makes people kneel, it's like they're witnessing a shiny pokemon.
Just… Don't be an idiot like me who tried to play black mage in a nier raid. 😂
Remember playing Black Mage originally on 2.0…Man what fun, Simple times then…..Sigh……
