  1. The differences between Playstation and PC is minuscule.

    The real question is, controller or mouse and keyboard? Both can be used together or separately on Playstation and PC.

  2. I recently got the PS5 version, mostly play on PC but didn't have access to it for a month. Luckily FFXIV was free at one point on PSN, so I only needed to buy Endwalker and was up to date. I uploaded my UI settings, plugged in my keyboard and mouse and it has been just as smooth.

  3. PC, for obvious reasons. My Ryzen Laptop can handle this game at very high settings pretty easily. I can use more than just a Normiestation controller and I have instant access to MnK. And if I wanted to, I could build a multi-thousand $$$ desktop and play it there without port begging. And I could play it on Ultra wide (or even super ultra wide, I think). I can't really imagine playing this game on a 4:3 let alone a 16:9 for much longer.. It's difficult to see. This is definitely an ultrawide required game.

    Once you purchase it on a platform, you can't purchase it elsewhere. So if you bought it on some random Sony console, you're stuck on that platform unless you're willing start over on another platform. Once you get it on PC, there is no need to port beg like you would to your console manufacturer overlords

    PC has everything console already has, but more and better in every possible way, even price ironically (Long run). This game is WAY better on an ultra wide and 60fps+. It's a VERY easy game to run.

    Ultimately, there is absolutely no positive reason to even own a console outside of portability. There's a reason why each generation of consoles sell less and less. Buy it once a mont hon PC and never pay for any other subscription just to play it. Online is completely free to play, so is the Free Trial! No online subscription BS scam services, no overlords to give our money to for them to let us play online

  5. I think it looks amazing on my huge samsung q90 and PS5. tho, ive always played mmos on pc, I find it way easier, but I dont wanna play PC.. I love rpgs on console with a controller and big tv instead of being glued by a 27 inch monitor with not the same picture quality. Like I would never play a single player rpg on pc. but Im performing so good on pc on ffxiv… maybe I just quit.
