  1. I became a Lalafell for the Dwarf houses. I stayed Lalafell for the illusion of speed, the fact our models are the closest to the player hit box and because we're just cute. I changed back to a miqote last year, and couldn't stand it for more than a day, I just felt too big and heavy

  2. I’ll never forget the time I qued up a leveling roulette and loaded into Halatali with three Lalafell maids. It was like going on a school field trip.
(My character’s a bunny girl, btw)

  3. I'm a Lala main and just finished Endwalker and that last 1v1 fight cutscene was… amusing… lol But in general, I love my Lala girl and try to make her a very serious WoL despite her size and adorableness. ❤

  5. I'm a bit of a shy, socially anxious type even in games. As a Lalafell, it's far easier to interact with random people in postive ways. Just go up to people in town and do your cutest/funniest emotes and you'll receive some headpats and hugs from your new friends. Super-easy ice breaker.
Try emoting at random strangers as a cat girl or bunny. They'll just think you're weird.

  6. Reason #11: (Disclaimer – this is very likely just a me thing since I've spent almost 100% of my game time as a lalafell) Positioning.

It's extremely intuitive to tell where the dead center of your character is when you're in combat as a lalafell. It also makes any sort of jumping and parkour easier as well. I barely ever feel the need to put a target on myself.

  7. From a Realm Reborn to Shadowbringers i play Lalafell male, with a deep voice and mainly Tank and i love it. It´s a so cool race. The only reason i don´t play it anymore is Viera are my favorit race since Final Fatasy tactics advance.

  8. As someone who gets really uncomfortable with erp and random pms, playing as a lala really helped steer clear of those situations.

People are super friendly and will even just randomly try to gift me things as well even more when I play my lala vs the other races that I play.

  9. 1:20 "they are very easy to see"
My Raid leader: "Ok, we need to split into light parties. Stand on the A and B markers. Why do we only have 3 people in this stack? Starts counting Oh, nevermind, we have 4 in each, I missed the Lala."

  10. Fun Fact: Since Lalafell's are smol, their animations are a tad bit faster. Like for instance, mining or chopping in the Diadem is a tiny bit faster as a Lalafell then any other race because they don't have to swing their arms so far.

I am literally not joking about this fact XD

  11. there was one time where I was on a trip and all of a sudden my fc discord blew up….with everyone turning into a lalafell…it was a wild time
but also I love lalafell tanks….they're the cutest and best

  12. Lalas are a surprising temptation for me, I almost made my emergency sub-ran-out trial character into one, but my Highlander is eternal (thanks to her, I started tying my hair in a ponytail and I love it)

And now that you mention DMs, either Highlander's permanent "Don't bother me" face, the fact that I AFK near a prettier friend or Gilgamesh/Ul'Dah's *relative* lack of… people had me never get any of these… maybe all three, lucky break
