  1. Yay a new video! It's nice to have such a clear timeline video to reference when thinking about all this stuff. And I thought maybe I'd mixed up that the reason the Yok Huy expanded north was in search of the golden city, but I guess if they'd been everywhere in the South, where else would it be 😅.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the world building of the first part of the expansion, and I'm looking forward to the tribal quests to come. I know I'm going to enjoy coming back to these lands in the future, as well.

Also looking forward to new videos!

  2. What do you think of the Ronka Ruin in Tender Valley? Are the Ronkas a pre-sundering civilization? Two separate civilizations who just happened to develop in a similar way? One civilization who traveled between the source and the first?

  3. Welcome back lore master! I liked your video on Turali history. Would you consider doing a video on which reflection you speculate Alexandria and the Unlost are from? I found an interesting video on YouTube about it and would like your thoughts. Plus I’ve seen videos about which reflections are still in the universe and which ones no longer exist because they were rejoined due to a calamity. But I’m not sure how we know exactly which reflections are around and which are not aside from the 1st and 13th that we’ve visited. Would you consider making videos clarifying on these two topics? I really appreciate your storytelling and in depth knowledge of XIV lore. Thank you for sharing your gift with us!

  4. There were a few things I noticed while playing through the DT story which got me consider the possibility that the end of the WoL and the beginning of Azem's journey.

The WoL came into possession of Azem's crystal. Then prior to fighting Elidibis we used the ancient incantation in sundered form we took up the seat of Azem. Venat having been the previous Azem prior to the sundering, her mentoring the WoL ended when her duty discharged she went to the Aetherial sea. We were reminded that the Azem's crystal is now permanently in our possession.

Spoilers for DT incoming. Those few things came to my attention with the story of Wuk Lamat's growth, first From ARR-Endwalker we were told Hear, Feel, Think. in DT through Wuk Lamat's growth we experienced what was meant of Hear, Feel, Think. Remember when Wuk Lamat and Koana's camp were side by side, this was when Koana confirmed Hear, Feel, Think.. The next odd thing within the story was Azem's crystal was front and center, in our face, when we weren't in a raid. The final piece which had me consider the growth from WoL to Azem is when we were asked why we do what we do and one of the answers was; "For the love of the star." And a final piece is Azem's symbol appears on the mysterious ancient key Sphene is using that can open gates between the reflections of Etheirys.

That being said there was this interview with Yoshi Phttps://www.finaland.com/?rub=site&page=news&id=6801 Being I can spin some good theory and I may be wrong, however Venat is no longer guiding us. The designation of the adventurer is now the Traveler.

  5. I wonder what the other "Golden Cities" Emet was referring to?

Was it just Everkeep? Its last level in particular?

Or was there more? Like say the other cities and their people that the Ancient Ascians visited but were not apart of before the Sundering? Could they have hidden away rather than comfront either the Final Days or the Primal Gods of the Ascians make?

Then there is the mysterious civilization that eerily follows a similar culture and architecture of Ronka thats found on a reflection and not on the Source. Could these people moved further north? Hidden elsewhere?… Or perhaps if they are a civilization that stems or was part of Ronka, migrated to another reflection?

Or, heh, perhaps simply Godbert Manderville will make a new resort here in the New World that could be mistaken as a Golden City of high entertainment! XD

  6. What seems to be lost of so many people setting foot on this land is the nation is 80 years young. 80 years is a life time, less for many of the people on this star. Many smaller nations struggle to last this long. The idea of a peaceful transfer of power often doesn't happen with nations a fraction as big. And yet people think someone wanting to keep peace if a weak idea for a ruler. When a lust for power and status quo ripped the Garlean empire apart BEFORE Zenos took over. We have no idea how bad the fight for the crown was cause we had a realm to rebuild and then a Dragonsong war to end. I might not put this as my personal highlight of this journey but I look forward to this nation's growth with the new rulers.

  7. I've been looking forward to dawntrail content from you!

I was so hyped when basically every thing in your last video you mentioned had found a way to make an appearance in the expansion.

I know you were apprehensive about where the story was going when they announced Solution 9, so I'm curious. How do you feel about the events of Dawntrail?

I'm sure you're going to post videos about this in the future so a simple "Dawntrail Yay or Nay" answer will suffice!
