Whenever a new payer to FF14 gets here, quite literally EVERYONE mobilizes to "prepare" them for the fight. It's like some kind of built-in instinct, and is one of the best parts about this game!

Hardest part for me was the 500 hours of unskippable dialogue story quest you must do to progress the game

One thing to understand is that the dungeons and fights in A Realm Reborn are all inherently easy to clear.
1) The content was designed when our level of power was significantly weaker than it is now 3 expansions later.
2) That's it. Literally that's it. Direct hit didn't exist back then. Tank gave minimal to no strength and their tank stance gave a 20% damage penalty. Hit rate was removed and replaced by direct hit in Stormblood. Before Stormblood, everyone needed the accuracy stat to hit bosses. Tanks get the most accuracy, followed by DPS. Healers gear gave ZERO accuracy. The potency of all attacks were much lower. What is 530 now used to be 350 potency; the move in question is full thrust. What used to be 250 is now 400, 80 to 120, 120 to 200, 120 to 300. What used to be a 2 minute long rotation is now a 30 second part of your Shadowbringer rotation. What used to 9 second long stance is now a 15 second long stance, enabling more fire balls before you need to cool off. And so on.
THIS also means that your failures in ARR are due to you and/or your parties complete ineptitude. And I mean INEPT. It's so forgiving you can fail upward, but not so forgiving if you do nothing.
Just keep in mind this is the beginning of FFXIV much much later you will get into some difficult content , first time I fought Mist Dragon as a new player in The Burn I wasn't ready, I thought everything was tank and spank until that dragon wiped us like 5 times and I rage quit đ€Ł I was new don't judge me I thought people were mad at me for being such a noob, but actually everyone was being really nice, it was all in my head because of my wow experiences before where after few wipes they call you bad names and kick you out haha
