  1. Yoshi P is a king – his game development philosophy and respect for players is why the game feels so rewarding to play and it doesn't feel like you're running through chores

  2. This is a great video. I'm glad you took the time to watch this. A lot of people don't know anything about the history of the games they play. They take things for granted. Like making a character jump.

FF took and made the things that people liked and wanted from blizz. if blizz just did real player housing / guild hall ( GH would be ok if it was like the garrison where you get some quests build some stuff and display statues of guild accomplishments ) and make a better darkmoon fair (so lame ) add solo Q / better valor / hnr system no caps and NO time gating hit me up blizz ill fix your game

  5. 20:42 — That monster (aka Googue) in the city (aka Uldah) is an event with heavy impact on Minfilia's life. You want to remember it 🙂
45:40 — Yes, "The great Googue Wall" is an ingame legend 😀 Some random NPC mentions it in the MSQ and there are other small references.
Dont worry too much about the "spoilers" in the video – by the time you see it, it'll be like "oh thats that" or "this kinda familiar". Its only fly-overs of random zones with no implication as of what you see 🙂
When I saw these series I also thought "Hell, wish I had been there" 😀 I wont lie, I had lots of fun in WoW… but also honestly, I barely remember any of it 🙁 I wont it was all a waste of time but I'm getting close…

  6. Hopefully Noclip channel (original video) can produce a second part of this documental series, since it end at the launch of Stormblood. Would be interesting to know about the depth situation arround Shadowbringers, the playerbase growth and the upcomming Endwalker.

  7. YoshiP is undoubtedly a god but don't forget the other god, SOKEN! If you have time, please do check out Soken's struggle as the person in charge of the music for FF14. He is without a doubt a god when it comes to making music for this game.
