I got chills hearing Red Wings again. FFIV (FFII in the states) was the first RPG I ever played. I still remember the chills I got hearing Uematsu's version for the first time, and hearing it in FFXIV is like my whole gaming life coming full circle.

So lets see here, barring rubi in that cutscene before zeromus we had:
Scar taken out by a powerful mage
Cagnazzo taken out by a PLD
Barbariccia taken out by a DRG
(side not but I cant not hear the "I WILL NOT LET YOU DESTROY THE RIFT BETWEEN WORLDS" line spoken by anyone other than Goku ala Battle of Gods)
Good gosh, the remix of Zeromus' theme absolutely SLAPS. It's tied with To The Edge for my favorite Trial theme. And it's a fun fight to boot!
But once that Red Wings theme kicked in and then windows opened to the Moon, hype kicked into overdrive! Glad it did for you too!
Ever since we entered the memory Baron we were playing the role of Golbez and Durante was seeing us as him.

Zeromus's theme , both the original and this remix, is one of the best final boss themes ever in my opinion
Might not be as grand and epic as Dancing Mad and One Winged Angel, but holy hell it still slaps really hard
