  1. When the penny finally dropped for Rich about the 'Masked Man' I almost scream laughed. Then the "twooo coconuts.." realization actually hurt my throat from the laugh that burst out of it lmao

  2. And it was in that final patch, that Yda was ruined, Use-Lyse was born because Banri Oda wanted wank bait for Stormblood, and the writing went to shit for every scene that embarrassing blemish on Final Fantasy for patches to come appears in.

  3. You know what’s my favorite thing about Heavensward? We have to deal with all the crap that could happen when a nation’s millennia old history is proven to be based on a lie.
I was legit surprised that it didn’t default to “Everyone was happy for doing the right thing. The end.” Yeah, obviously you'll have regular people who are incredibly pissed that their loved ones died to keep up the lie. You'll have nobles who are scared and upset that suddenly their balance of power, their actual reason for being nobles, has suddenly been shown to be false. Not all the priests will take it well that the basis of their faith was a facade.

Edit: I also think that Estinien's character arc is just fantastic. In that cutscene where Estinien leaves the city at the end of Heavensward, he is holding a bouquet of flowers. He leaves those flowers up at the port in Azys Lla where we land as a sort of farewell/tribute to Ysayle. Estinien then goes and leaves another bouquet of flowers at the scene where Ratatoskr had been murdered and eaten by the first King Thordan and his knights. Hraesvelgr witnesses this and gives Estinien a suit of armor that had originally been blessed by Ratatoskr before she had been murdered. He gives that suit of armor to Estinien as a way to tell him that the Azure Dragoon is still needed as a way to bring mankind and dragonkind together. Estinien accepts both the armor and the role of the new Azure Dragoon, and he names the armor "Iceheart" as yet another tribute to Ysayle.

Nidhogg was originally supposed to have taken up the mantle of acting as the guardian of the star from Midgardsormr, but he abandoned that when he decided to torment the people of Ishgard for eternity. But you learn from the Dragoon class quests that it would seem that Estinien has decided to assume some of the burden in correcting Nidhogg's mistakes, as Estinien basically spent the Stormblood expansion travelling around the world and assisting in helping calm members of Nidhogg's brood so that they wouldn't be forced to rampage anymore.

  4. "You are late, Warrior of light."
A warrior of light is neither early nor late, a warrior of light arrives exactly when they mean to or when the plot will allow.

  5. I wonder if he would act this stupid by yelling and screaming like an idiot if there wasn't a camera pointed at him, Who plays games by acting this dumb?

  6. One of the things I hate about this kid's joke is how judgmental he can be with characters calling characters useless way ahead of time, STFU AND RESPECT THE CHARACTERS.

  7. I'm going to stand in the fire here and say that I actually rather like Lyse. She basically spent the last 5-6 years pretending to be her sister because she thought that the symbol of her sibling was more important than herself. It was rather interesting to basically travel around Ala Mhigo and Doma with Lyse and Alisae.
