I think the worse thing that come from Max acting like he was doing these fight blind, as how he tried to throw one of his raid mates under a bus when they called out something from Seat of Sac EX. I think it was the bahamut tackle or Cone AoE. Like dude… what the hell. Your group is friends right…? Holy hell.

Door boss is familiar to long time WoW raiders tbf, due to Sha of Fear HC in MoP (2012) which was first and only door boss in WoW, every boss after that simply had additional Mythic phase when they had them. However he never saw one in FFxiv before, so guessing that part is highly likely prewatched.
Everything else he "predicts/eurekas" is 150% prewatched.

all of this could have been avoided if max just mentioned like "hey guys were gonna watch a guide for the next few fights to speed things up, I want to make this transparent as possible and still enjoy the fights learning how to solve it with the knowledge and maybe come up with our own strats". Instead he lies and makes himself a disingenuous person. Narcissist behavior too on top of it all. lol love how he got exposed by this vid.
On the point of "WoW UI" there is a reason a lot of players use it. It's convenient and has the info you care about with no fluff.
Using FFXiv classic HUD elements I made my UI in a similar fashion years back. In wow you need to do that with a WA, because base UI is not as customizable, but there is no problem with "WoW UI".
