  1. I've done this. Walked into a random house and the owner just happened to be there. I didnt know what to say and we just looked at each other for a minute and i said "Well this is awkward." and he responded "Yeah…". And I just said Nice house and left.
Another time I was in my own house in the basement and i saw some random sprout started to walk down my stairs and i guess he noticed me and ran. I tried to find him but he must of teleported away lol.

  2. God this was me yesterday! I was visiting my new neighbors’ houses at night thinking nobody would be on, when at the last one the neighbor and their friends showed up as I walking back to the main floor. They were really sweet people, even though I was panicking internally

  3. Okay, this also happened to me once, but worse. I was visiting off world with fc mates at a friend's house and at some point starting absent-mindedly going around looking at people's placards while they talked in vc. One of the houses caught my eye and I decided to stop in to see the inside real quick, not even thinking about whether or not they'd be home. My friends asked where I was and I told them I was visiting the house down the street, so they came in with me.

We go through the house, it's gorgeous, well decorated, yadda yadda. We start going through the rooms that were open. One of those rooms is basically "Shiva" themed — it's covered with ice and has an ice throne and the Shia trial music is playing. We start goofing around playing on the throne, having a good old time when all of a sudden what we assume was the owner of the room walks in. We freeze, exchange awkward waves, and then we all make for the door to leave. Only thing is, the door was covered by walling, and the only way to get to it was to clip in a very specific way. So basically we're trapped in there with this person and we all start screaming in voice. Eventually all my friends manage to clip properly enough to get to the door, all except me who was still struggling as the room's owner watched me. I can't get to the door and I am MORTIFIED, so in a last ditch panicked effort, I just teleport out of there to the Kugane aetheryte.

  4. This just happened to me, but I was the homeowner. I was building a little tavern in my basement, and after arranging some chairs and tables, I went around sitting in each one to make sure the distance between chair and table was optimal. Only to hear footsteps and see a random Bun Boy Dragoon watching me…

  5. I love random visitors to my house. Although the guy who ran in the other day yelling "Where is Repair?" — that was a bit puzzling.
Just so new players know. If people don't want you in their house the door won't be open. It has to be enabled. When the neighborhood was more populated with FCs I used to find them in my treehouse or using my training dummy when I logged in. Anyone can visit me anytime.

  6. I was just running around my new housing ward this weekend, figured it was fine to snoop in people's houses because it was like 3:30AM and no one in their right mind would be on.

So of course I run into a cottage basement, only to find the owner putting up walls or something. IDK why such a terrible wave of shame and embarrassment struck me, but I just turned tail, ran out of the house, and logged off >_<
