  1. I relate to him so bad. XIV was my anchor while in cancer treatment. When I wanted to give up during chemo and radiation playing XIV kept me going. As I have a breakup of 6 years behind me it feels like he and me went through the same hardships. I am thankful for all of you fellow warriors of light who I could meat through the years. Let your light shine brightly. Love you guys. ❤️❤️❤️

  2. I agree with ya both! FFXIV helped me with Depression & thoughts of unaliving myself! As a US Army Vet we are taught to not to show weakness & or feelings! I used to lock everything inside & never let it out! The game showed me that there is beauty in everything if you just look! I played the Valentines event & am on a break! I have RL stuff & tons of other games in my game list! I will definitely be back for all the other in game events & especially Dawntrail day ONE! I love ya both Zepla & Quazii, you mean allot to me & our FFXIV Family!

  3. I love Quazii. I hope nothing but the best for the guy. I'm glad that he came back to making FF14 videos again, but I also understand why he had to step away from the game for a while.

  4. I am so thankful to quazii, I remember I was playing tbc classic doing some shitty miserable rep grind watching YouTube bored out of my mind and wondering what I’m even doing with my life, then I saw episode 1 of his msq video on my side bar, as soon as I finished the first episode I tried the game and over two years later I’ve completely fallen in love with XIV and completed every single final fantasy game. It feels so weird to be happy to log into an mmo after hating wow for so long

  5. There's a lot of hurt and wrong in the world but communities like FF14 show you the beauty in humanity.
People who otherwise are in completely different places in their life being concerned, caring and supporting people they otherwise barely know.
I just find that profoundly beautiful and heart warming.

  6. Life definitely gets in the way, sometimes. Quazii dealt with the end of a long relationship. Zepla, you had so much upheaval over the last few years, I'm surprised you streamed as much as you did.

On my end, I spent May-thru-December of last year in the hospital. Getting back to Eorzea was almost as important to me as getting back home.😅

I'm so ready for Dawntrail. I'm ready to start the next chapter of this journey, alongside what I still feel is the best community in gaming.😊

  7. I have almost 3k hours in the game, but I really do not understand any of the feelings. I dont see the game the same at all. I feel like I am the only one who sees a game while everyone else just has these rose tinted glasses that see something completely different. Makes me feel really lonely and disconnected honestly from both the game and the community. It is a great game otherwise I wouldnt be playing it, but I really cant connect with or relate to these feelings and people at all :/ I dont feel like the story is anything special and I dont feel any connection to the zones, world, characters or the game itself sadly even after all this time, I wish I could, I am just kinda playing it and it is enjoyable but I dont feel attached except to game itself only somewhat to the people that I play with. I wonder why I cant connect to FFXIV but feel way more emotionally connected to games like Genshin.

  8. Zepla thank you for also sharing – I feel we have so much in common in the emotional journey we went through. Crazy to think about how similar our challenges were.

Let’s do the podcast episode together! I’ll reach out (:

  9. I started FFXIV when 2.0 launched and it quite literally saved my life quite a few times! It's a great escape for many of us, when we just want to turn our brains off from the real world for a little while. This game has been like a friend that holds your hand when times are rough, and it's there for the good times as well.

I feel for you and Quazii, as well as so many others, but I'm glad we all have this one thing that can bring us together in solace. 🙂
