So Patch 6.0 is here! The Final Fantasy 14 Endwalker trailer looks amazing! The WoL is on the moon!!!! It’s also really nice how they have given Paladin some love. I was expecting a slightly longer trailer but I can not wait to play through endwalker! I wonder how close we are to the end of the FF14 series? I never want it to end.

Two things;
1. I’m getting heavy FF4 vibes from this trailer (WoL going from dark Knight in SHB to paladin in endwalker, paladins on the moon)
2. The new job was showcased in the trailer, alphinaud had the new healer job (sage)
Thing to note: it is actually not coming to an “end”. It is wrapping up the larger story narrative from 2.0-6.0. They will just build new stories after wrapping up the current story.

Wow I just realized now at the end that Zenos was looking at the moon where the WoL is, and the WoL looking at the earth where Zenos is, that's a nice parallel

When 6.0 wraps up and a new adventure begins starting 6.1, I have a feeling it will be about the world that was devoured by the dark/void
I mean we already had a job quest that is setting up that storyline
That quest where you brought another NPC (related to the Warring Triad) to the First in preparation for possibly saving the world devoured by the dark/void

its not coming to an end, just the story of hydaelyn and zodiark, which yoshi explained in the announcement, that will end in 6.0, 6.1 will start a completely new story journey to different parts of the world other than what we've seen thus far
