Enjoyed your vid as always! I don't think it matters that you didn't play FF6 cause this will play different. I was hoping that it would be like Sai in Naruto who draws beasts into reality to attack, but I think Aitherea's initial impressions will be spot on. Though I think probably there will be a "brush" attack (quick attack) and then an "artwork attack" (cast through a series of actions like DNC and Ninja). And Aitherea, we all know you like it cause Krile. It's ok, you can admit it haha
FFVI is such a legendary title. That game is still considered by many to be the best single player FF game ever made, and that's saying something when you have FFIV, FFVII, FFX, all legendary games. Everything about it was iconic, from villains, to story structure, to music.
Relm was a lovely part of FFVI. She was a young, opinionated 10-year-old girl living with her grandfather, Strago. She was the first Pictomancer in FF history, and I swear to God if I hear her theme somewhere in Dawntrail, I'll get a lump in my throat the size of Texas.😅

I think your theory is good! I was thinking more Ninja myself but Dancer took similarities from Ninja so makes sense..! Also just like you, I prefer non DPS jobs, and was kinda meh about Viper (It's just another melee…) but Pictomancer makes me genuinely excited!
Wow, when you compared the "Brush Strokes" to "Dance Steps" and it doing damage to paint a bigger spell, I NEVER thought about that…I know both Ninja and Dancer have ability combinations to make something bigger but only do damage on the finish, it would be pretty unique if Pictomancer does do damage with it's "steps/mudra" like mechanics, that's really really creative thinking, I hope you're right there. It sounds like Monk during the Perfect Balance state into Blitz…just in Caster form. Good video!
