The finale of ShB 5.0 is here đ
This was a lovely journey I really enjoyed it despite the impactful moments that left me in tears. Iâm always crying lol, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
As you can tell in the video, I was kind of nervous tanking in the dungeon, but I wanted to try it nonetheless. If I did it with duty finder, I feel I would not have the time to look at my surroundings with the destruction going on in Emetâs Amaurot..
At the time, I was also trying to get used to tanking. Even if I did it with NPCs it was still nerve wrecking, but Iâm fine with it nowâ thereâs small hesitations here and there, but I end up following the pattern and doing my rotation. Everything turns out fine in the end if I did my job correctly.
As for the controller drift stuff I mentioned in the video-
It was actually my left stick that keeps drifting, so everything I move it, the camera goes upwards. I ended up getting a new one since Iâm not sure how to fix the issue ):
Isopropyl alcohol somewhat works but in the end it kept drifting so I had no choice unu
But anyway!
For upcoming side content, Iâve already mentioned this on my twitter, but I have already done the Cardinal Virtues, + the bonus quest and the Nier Raids. Iâve also done the Twinning and the Akadaemia Anyder. The Eden Questline, or at least, Edenâs Gate, is also finished. So I have a lot of editing to do XD
I apologize if the scheduling isnât like the usual, but because I have a life outside the internet, I had to take my time editing at my own pace until Iâm able to do the 2 uploads a week schedule again.

Faster upload than expected though I guess after reaching Amaurot, it was pretty much a non-stop train from there which was probably the case for everyone else too lol.
I love that part when Emet saw you in your original Amaurotine form. You are now 8 times rejoined (when Ardbert rejoined you), and are now one step closer to being "complete".

This expansion truly shine a light (no pun intended) on the moral grey areas. You can't help but also root for the bad guys.
I noticed that small look of sadness on Emet's face when Alisaie was giving her speech. He was not entirely dismissing what she said, a nice little detail.
In the end we understood one another. As a result of that understanding our unwavering resolves could only clash. In the end we both knew this was the only way.
That second phase joke totally got me Nemu. LOL. You actually did something I hadn't thought of, talking to the crew right BEFORE amaurot. I again love watching your responses because…. you feel all the feelings I felt when the Smile quote appears as an option…. As I'm sure you realized with Ardbert's axe… Ardbert spent his afterlife in torment of having doomed his world.. of him and his friends being hated by the world for having tried to do the right thing. That in the end… he did save them, and made things right. I strongly recommend you do all the role quests at the Wandering Stairs, as there's more story there about what happened in the flood. I'm happy you so thoroughly enjoyed Shadowbringers, Ysa… Tears and all. We cry for things that mean something to us, and I feel like this story meant a lot. To me, and hopefully to you. The ride's not over yet though…

As a side note, the answer "Tis good to see you awake, Gra'ha" is a harken back to the original Crystal Tower Quests, at the end you promised to be there when he woke up. So for him, he missed that because you were gone. So that's why it hits him so hard. He waited 100 years to hear those words basically.
Not sure how far along you are real time Ysa, but I strongly suggest you finish off the Eden raids before you start 5.3, and after you are done with 5.2 content. I'm so glad you loved the first ending, I can't wait to see how you feel about ShB in its entirety when you finish 5.3! <3

It's been great following Nemu's journey and in doing so getting to vicariously experience this great story again. FF14 has quickly gone from being my favorite MMO to being my favorite Final Fantasy in general closely edging out FFX. Thanks for your hard work with the editing and I look forward to 5.3 and beyond.

Sadly for Emet-Selch, his love for his people was usurped by Zodiark. In the end, despite the countless centuries Emet would never have been able to set aside his task because he is tempered by Zodiark. His entire being had been repurposed to serve his God. His cause to return his people to life was really just secondary to Zodiarkâs own goal to return, whether or not Emet himself realized it is a sad question.
Thank you so much for sharing your adventure so far. Watching this over and over with different people is one of my favorite things to do. Makes me re-enjoy the game's story like the first time. I am eagerly waiting to see the rest of your Shadowbringers' story because it is far from over yet.
I've enjoyed your journey/videos through FFXIV, and I can't wait for the future videos you release. You seem to get really into the story and I have no idea how you can remember some of the names of the NPC you very briefly meet.
I also really like your Nemu art as well. There is a level of inhuman/uncanny valley going on to it, and I really like that dichotomy. I think it is the way you do the pupils.
That is because Nemu isn't human and as Miqote, I'd expect those cat features to be incredibly disconcerting in real life. So your drawing doing that, at least to me, is very well done. I have no idea if you are trying to do that on purpose or not, but I like it alot.
Like, it gives me that sense of other. Like it should be human, except there is this feature that shouldn't be there. Sorry, I don't know if I'm explaining this right or not. But I like it a lot. Your art style, from what i've seen of it which is the few pics you've got on twitter and in youtube, I really like. Can't wait for your future videos.

Conga-rats on making it through 5.0! It was so good watching you go through it bit by bit. When you go back to the Crystarium, talk to the Exarch, you can show him the G'raha Tia Minion! I hope you enjoy the Eden raids, their story is good.
And here we are, at the end of this chapter. Was so excited to see your reaction to the end of this. My second favorite dungeon in ShB, and I can't wait to see your reaction to my favorite. And so this chapter comes to an end but there still more trials and more chapters ahead. The road stretches before you Warrior of Darkness, walk it with pride for you have changed history. And remember, remember your old, new friend. It was his wish after all. Can't wait for the next vid!

I didn't get to do this myself, but you can visit the Crystal Exarch in the First before you complete Shadowbringers 5.3 and show him your Wind-up G'raha Tia minion. See how he reacts and what he says. There are videos on YouTube which go as far back as two years ago which show what happens when you do this after completing Shadowbringers 5.0, if you don't mind being spoiled.
