  1. The man gave up his game the moment the video started "It went from a niche substitute for wow" dawg, you wanna play wow play wow, don't make 14 wear clothes that don't fit it because that's your fetish.

  2. I feel like he has a few fair points, but he is just so bitter about everything with the passive aggressive stuff that he is just.. doing such a poor job of bringing some of that justified criticism across

  3. All I hear is this guy crying that not 100% of the devs are working on things he likes. He is selfish end of story, that is why they get so mad when things they don't like are included. That is time they thought they deserve and no other player deserves the devs time to create things others might like. "Devs need to focus on only my stuff and if I don't like the new stuff they should have kept making my stuff, no other player matters." I am tired of the where is EW eureka zone, covid made them cut it, so they could meet their dead line. Yoshi P did not have the same power as he does today back then. The money man said so back then.

  4. In regards to why we don't get loot from P1 of fights like P12S I think it's because then people would just leave after P1 because they don't need the P2 loot, getting a P2 would be even harder than it already is in PF.

  5. 'Stand and Let Thing Resolve' yeah, cuz Llymlaen's best mech. While simple. You have to run away from the torrent of water, standing and letting it resolve will just kill you, ive been waiting for a mechanic like that for awhile, and its great, and i wont let the story skipper slander it

  6. I don’t understand why people can’t just enjoy the game. If you don’t enjoy it, don’t play it. It’s obvious he’s only 24. Trying to make a game that everyone can enjoy isn’t an easy thing to do. Have they failed on content? Absolutely! But at least they are trying. Complains it’s a rinse and repeat game but he probably buys the new COD and Madden each year.

  7. The dude is nonsensical, he's a perfect example of someone who has an opinion and is working his way backwards to try and prove it. His definition "stand and let it resolve" could pretty much apply to all games. Even Elden Ring is simply "stand and let it resolve", when a boss is winding up its attack you have to locate the safe spot and stand there to let it resolve. It's such a dumb point.

  8. The take on "oh the final boss is two bosses and both of them are half complete" is utter garbage, anyone who did P8S or P12S knows this isn't the case, specially week 1

Not to mention give or take bosses in final fantasy take around 7 to 9 minutes to kill, so if they wanted the final boss to be lastting from 14 to 18 minutes, they'd be talking about people doing smaller ultimates at the end of every tier.

  9. All of the negativity around Endwalker has been pissing me off so much, because they were fucking warned in advance.

All the people bitching that things are slowing down, things are changing, there's not as much as there used to be.

No shit. A 10 year long story arc just came to a close. They're working on bringing you the future, rather than keeping you running on a never-ending treadmill like WoW does. They've chosen not to fall into the trap of "Things ALWAYS have to keep escalating or people will get bored".

We just saved the entire universe. There is no more going up from there. The ONLY reasonable path forward is to just relax and take some time off. If there is going to be another threat, we need to first chill out from the whole, you know. Saving the universe thing. And that's exactly what the team have done. And people are taking this as "The game is headed in a new direction, and they are bad for doing so" and not "It's good that they have the restraint to not just constantly try to one-up themselves"

  10. Just bring back the 2 dungeons per patches. Just this would spice up the expert roulette just enough to not feel like a slog. Having a dungeon staying in the roulette for 8 months is way too long.

That's my hope for Dawntrail, especially after they said "at least as many dungeons as what we usually do", but I'm probably high on copium.

  11. Honestly all the complaints you can just move FF14 for X MMO and it's the same song and dance. To me it sounds like someone who is suffering burnout, because it's probably the game they play exclusively, but instead of just saying "I'm just not having fun anymore", you have to dunk on the game to cope with the fact you're not having fun anymore. And I'll be honest I did the same thing after being done with WoW after playing that game for more than a decade, and so did many other friends of mine. But again, looking back on it was just dumb way of telling yourself you're not having fun.
