  1. I think you've already lost your mind last summer during that shameful video series xD it was a long time coming known fact XD "forced reaction, lets go!!!!" ahah
Dialogue seems pointless and very quick to forget about lol "Freaking out for the logo in the sand omg to me this is just cool anything will be cool I'm making my point against FF7 as a whole: any stupid game could get a free pass at that point" yeah right! come on xD

  3. Square Enix's in-house CGI animation studio Visual Works have animated every Final Fantasy XIV trailer: the original 1.0 one for 2010; the 2.0 ARR one for 2013; the 3.0 HW one for 2015; the 4.0 SB one for 2017; the 5.0 Shadowbringers one for 2019; and Endwalker for 2021. They have animated trailers for the main Final Fantasy games since 1997, beginning with Final Fantasy VII to the trailers for 2020 Final Fantasy VII Remake, as well as the latter's in-game cutscenes.. (The exception, I think, was FFXV.) They animated the 2016 Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV film, the 2005 Final Fantasy VII Advent Children film, the trailer and in-game cutscenes for Tomb Raider 2013, Hitman Absolution 2012 and Hitman 2016 trailers, 2015 Just Cause 3 trailer, Bravely Default trailers, and other Square Enix properties, Japanese and Western.

  4. Zenos is ignoring the destruction around him (in which Fandaniel revels in) and just keeps his eyes on the moon. Because WE are on the moon. He has eyes for us only. Nothing else is of any importance to him. If that ain't boyfriend material, I don't know what is!

  5. FFXIV and it’s expansions have such FFIV vibes especially recently with them implementing the Dark Knight and now the Paladin it seems and this is a good thing cause FFIV is legendary

  6. The game is so good… I can’t wait for Sage and the new DPS. Now, if we can just get SE to recognize that they haven’t pronounced Y’shtola correctly in the English version since 2.0.

  7. The moon is hype. i love ff4 and ff8. Also paladin being the main role for this expansion straight after dark knight was in shadow bringers? I see you Square Enix…. I know what you did…

  9. PRINCE! I DON'T KNOW IF YOU KNOW THIS, BUT YOU WERE CHALLENGED A MONTH AGO BY THE FINAL FANTASY UNION YOUTUBE CHANNEL TO TALK ABOUT 30 FINAL FANTASY SONGS THAT YOU LOVE OVER THE COURSE OF 30-DAYS! HOWEVER, YOU CAN ALSO DO WHAT THEY DID AND TALK ABOUT ALL 30 SONGS IN ONE VIDEO!

  10. Maybe some of you ff14 fans can help me here….

So I went and tried ff14 today. God is it boring so far! Really really boring. And its so incredibly tedious and cluttered. I can't stand looking at it….I hear it gets better but I really feel like I wasted my day on it and don't know if I'll go back.

It's hard for me to understand the amount of criticism NSP and soldier 1st class gave ff7R recently and then praise they have for ff14. I just wanted to say you guys highly recommended it and so far I'm really annoyed with it. There's so much useless dialogue everywhere and super long distances for just simple fetch quests where you "hand over" an item and nothing else, whereas ff7r I was hanging on almoat every word and it felt good to play right away.

Is the slog worth it? Like are we talking 60 hours until it gets good and then it really pays off or something? I beat persona 5 and that game is a different kind of tedious that I thought was good. Each day counts even if it's drawn out. So I'm not that impatient.

Also, I just beat ff12 zodiac age and while I seemed to enjoy the ride, I have to say that I'll never go back to it because it was pretty tedious and the story ended up being meh and underdeveloped once it was all over. At one point I just wanted the game to end. I know ff14 crew seems to be influenced by 12 right….?

Ff14 is feeling like 12 for me already. I had to force myself to keep going….I've played through ff7r 4 times and I was never this bored and annoyed with it. Not even close.

is there any point to continue for me do y think? Does everyone else go through the same thing at first?
Maybe I'll just watch the cutscenes on YouTube to get the story, because gameplay sucks so far.

  11. That dude who commented during the announcement showcase that there's an aetheryte on the moon and it costs 90k gil to teleport was hilarious! Zenos is boring as a villain but he's beautiful and thicc asf probably staring at the moon internally saying to the WOL "I'm gonna tear this planet down just to see you again. Mah frend, mah enemy"

  12. They did integrate the square enix name into a ffxiv trailer before with stormblood. It's a bit hard to read because of the video compression but when the camera pans up the side of a cliff, it's zoomed into the letter that spell out square enix

  13. As I see it, they're re-creating an event similar-in-spirit to the jump from 1.0 to ARR. The return of behamut (basically), the final days (1.x over ran with voidsent), the moon being a significant part of it (YoshiP reminded us that dalamud was a prison for bahamut, "so that makes you wonder about the moon" (not exact quote)). Today's players are going to get to experience something like what we had at the end of 1.0, and it's going to be a part of the MSQ from 5.5 – 6.0 which means that players won't "miss out" on that experience. Also remember how they couldn't remember our WoL from 1.0 -> ARR because when they thought of us they only remembered a silhouette in front of blinding white light which is back at 3:42. And remember, we are an ancient so I think that this imagery is not only a salute to 1.0 -> ARR, but that it's also very deliberate here with the cloaked figure on the moon (and a part of me very much wants to hold onto our old theory about the WoL being a primal, but, that's just my pet head canon!). Not just the hooded cloak, but the arms of the robe as well. There are many correlations between the end of 1.0 and Endwalker, so hold onto your biscuits! There's a lot more in store (perhaps even a Lunar Cry and FATES inspired by the hamlet defense FATES as the monsters spill forth, as the corollary of the voidsent invasion?).
