  1. Glad to see how you're enjoying the game this much! Here's a little trick for good dps dungeons: When taking on a pack of mobs, by applying Bio+Miasma to all the mobs before Ruin spamming, you're basically dealing pseudo AOE damage in addition to your carbuncle's wind attacks, and the overall damage (assuming the mobs last a decent while under the barrage of magic) can be pretty powerful.

  2. I love watching your experience in ffxiv. Your narration and responses in the story cracks me up. Don't worry though, I can' t pronounce those big words either, haha. Thanks to you, I will never look at the chocobo porters in the same way, but will always see Stewart standing proud when I go by them. I can hardly wait to see what other experiences you encounter next. Thanks for coming into the world of FFXIV.

  3. 1.2.3 – 10k & 7.8.9 – 3600 are the two main lines you want to hunt down in the mini cactpot 🙂 you can also trade Gil for mgp at the vendor to the left of the cactpot guy but it only works up to about 500 mgp (to get you started) and you can’t lose mgp unless you spend it. So not really needed..,unless you spend it all and need to trade Gil for mgp to get you going again

  4. Once you break into the second hotbar of spells, I'd suggest rearranging so that all your frequently used spells are on the bottom bar, and you long cooldown/barely used skills are on the second. That's obviously gonna change depending on whether you choose Summoner or Scholar, but I keep Lucid Dream, buffs, and pet summoning stuff on the second or even third hotbar, just so they're not in the way.

Also, I didn't know you could change enemy text color. I'm never gonna use that, but it's a cool feature.

  5. Here is a tip for Mini cactpot, uncover the middle circle for each row, sides, if you see a 1,2, or 3, try hitting the one next to it, what you ideally want is a row that has 1,2,3 that gives you 10,000 points. I have, rarely, gotten 3 10,000 wins in one day.
