I feel you 😀 recently cleared myself. Been on it from day one as well. Very unlucky with groups too. It was sometimes a very horrible journey. But after clearing… the feeling was so amazing. The group we had to clear it with, was amazing! <3
My attempt with TEA had a much less supportive group. After that I determined that I'm only willing to go into it with nice, chill people. It is a huge time commitment, and I'd rather spend more time progging with people I enjoy the company of, rather than more intense people who get angry all the time, even if the total prog time would take longer with the kinder, more patient people
Congrats Zepla! When you started I remember you asking for something along the lines of mythic, what's your comparison of ult vs myth as far as punishing vs fun?

My group cleared UWU on Wednesday. I just watched this and your descriptions of feelings towards things (particularly how much pressure comes with super late mechanics) are so spot on. Congrats on your clear. 🙂

I was about to give up the fight, because of one player in my group, that made everything not fun for me, since he was, I need to push my dps, we need to do the speedkill strategies, so I can have the top dps in the party, we had to adjust everything so he could. Now that guy is gone, and I am slowly having fun in the fight. There are days, as you said, where one makes mistakes, but there are days, we prog or make a mechanic more fluid.
And I have to say, as a heal this fight is fun, but at the same time stressing XD

Hi Zepla, inspired by you I decided to give The Unending Coil of Bahamut (Ultimate) a chance. and even watching a guide several times and having a little more experience and progression in the fight, of all the days I had playing FFXIV, it was the worst day ever.
