As an FF fan who avoided MMOs with a passion, I'm so glad more people are getting into this game. It's straight up one of my favorite games ever and definitely my most played.
After all the hours of questing and adventuring, seeing this cutscene and the trailers, man, it is just too good. One of my favourite gaming experiences.

So happy you ate enjoying it! The story just keeps getting better and better through the expansions. I know ARR is a bit slow and not everyone wants to get through it, but the payoff is well worth it!

I recently started playing FFXIV myself and when I saw that heavensward trailer, it immediately made me start working on my lancer class.

I cannot begin to explain how hyped I am for you playing this!!! BTW I'd suggest you to do raids, alliance raids & trial series in every expansions. It greatly expands the story and it is very relevant for MSQ. In case of ARR, that's Coils and Crystal Tower. But CT is now mandatory! FFXIV is so good that I call it the One Piece of gaming! And I only caught up last year!
