Both Samurai and Dark Knight unlock at level 50. Completing the story up to Heavensward is required for Dark Knight and it starts at level 30, Samurai requires the Stormblood expansion though so it's not available in the free trial.
Its free until level 60 in each job*. So, you can safely level *each job until 59 and they (your other jobs) will still be free.
My man. Enjoy the game. Sam is nice. Looking forward to the smooth content. Also the free trial is unlimited time with 1st expansion include. U just can't pass 60. So can play as much as u want as long as u don't wanna go pass that. N u can buy the new expansion n will get the 2nd n 3rd ones, but won't get access to them until Nov. Getting them on sale for like 20 bucks or less, goes on sale often

DG. I've got an alternative since you won't be able to play Samurai for a while. You might want to pick up the "Rogue" at level 10 which is a DPS that evolves into the "Ninja". You can pick it up in the city Limsa Lominsa at level 10

I am glad you're playing this game and I love the story, I got very far into Stormblood and stayed monk but had to stop playing because of some of the people and being forced to play with people. I couldn't play for a year due to work and I get back and people said how do you not know this, why didn't you look it up and things like that but I like to figure things out and see the story first time. Plus I can't play ridiculous hours a day like some people I know. Anyway would also like to see you get into Warframe.

Dude I love your monster hunter videos. I was not expecting you to play ff14
If you decide tanking is not for you I highly recommend checking out Lancer as an optional DPS class. They kill dragons. They also have some of the best animations in the game and one of the best class stories in the class quests. Also the first expansion, Heavensward, is kind of based around them.
Awwww snap DG on ffxiv. Didn't know you were a fan. Looking forward to this. I just finished the main story for shadowbringers. Enjoy it. It's really a great game.
