Ahhhhh the summer seasonal event is here in Final Fantasy 14!! And this is my FIRST seasonal event in the game and I gotta say, I really enjoyed the Moonfire Faire! The cutscenes were fun, the Power Rangers suit is DOPE, and the final fight… chef’s kiss! Hope y’all enjoyed the event as much as I did! See y’all next time!

  3. 20:32 Those two are the leaders of the pirate gangs in Limsa, and the Elezen in blue will have a role to play in a post-Heavensward side quest and during the Stormblood MSQ

  4. XIV seasonal events are fun because while the content is, practically speaking, identical from year to year, they do mini story arcs over a few years, so it's never exactly the same quests. The rewards are also updated every year, with the previous years' rewards becoming available on the Mogstation for irl money the following year. The NPCs for seasonal events also recognize you if you've done the event in previous years, and their dialogue changes slightly to reflect that.

    This year's Moonfire Faire quest line is actually sort of a sequel to the Moonfire Faire quests about… 8 or 9 years ago, I think? It was around the time that I started playing. The rewards then included a set of "Go Go" Ranger pose emotes.
